Job Summary
The Salesforce Developer provides application and development support for enhanced utilization and customization for Salesforce. This position will function as a subject matter expert and assist with project implementations within Salesforce.

Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities and facilitate significant improvements to processes and systems
  • Develop and support customized functions within Salesforce
  • Perform all program changes and enhancements allowed within software agreement
  • Manage testing process for Salesforce solutions which includes developing test plans, creating test cases, and establishing testing protocols along with appropriate testing environments
  • Collaborate with project management team to ensure alignment and communication of project status or issues
  • Conduct relevant research, data analysis, and create reports
  • Identify efficiencies and innovative approaches
  • Daily administration and support of Salesforce managing multiple user setup, profiles and roles, customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts and validations, reports, and dashboard
  • Collaborate with management, strategic planning, analysis of staff and end-users to create and manage complex workflow rules, data validation, and triggers
  • Log and track identified system problems through resolution
  • Undergo additional training for new features and system updates as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not oversee other positions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Science or equivalent work experience.
  • 2 years’ experience in similar role with focus on Salesforce development
  • Intermediate to Advanced Salesforce Knowledge of:
  • Development and Administration
  • Development tools (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, and Javascript)
  • Structure (objects, fields, relationships, validation rules, etc)
  • Security & Sharing (roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, etc)
  • Understanding Force.com, Communities, Service Cloud, preferred
  • Experience using Salesforce Automation tools (workflows, approval processes, process builder, flows, etc), preferred
  • Certifications in Salesforce (Platform App Builder, Developer, Architect, Administrator, CPQ Specialist), preferred
  • Experience using Release Management tools (Ant, Change Sets, Salesforce DX), preferred

Working Conditions
The Salesforce Developer works in an air conditioned, office environment with extended periods of time typing, working on a computer and sitting. Day to day responsibilities require little to no repeated crouching, climbing, kneeling, pulling/pushing more than 10 lbs., squatting, and reaching above the shoulders.
