Description

As a member of a SaaS-focused scrum team, the Salesforce.com Developer role participates in all phases of software development projects including scope definition, requirements gathering, architecture, design, development and unit testing. This highly collaborative role is responsible for contributing to overall system and application architectural decisions relating to Salesforce.com and its related SaaS applications. The top goal for this role is to leverage the Salesforce platform to help drive organization change for the sales network via core business process enhancements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Works closely with architecture team and uses UML design models to create architectural solution for fulfillment of user story requirements. 2. Collaborates with the Salesforce scrum team staff in development from design documents to platform solutions. 3. Identifies what tasks for needed for your respective user stories, allocates appropriate time, and works cross-functionally on stories, as needed. 4. Assumes responsibility for ensuring your user stories and tasks are completed properly with a high level of quality. 5. Reviews code daily to ensure requirements and design compliance, enforces clean code standards and ensures adequate unit test coverage. 6. Actively identifies continuous process improvement opportunities and recommends ideas for implementation. 7. Participates in training entry level and senior developers as well as Quality Assurance and Business Analysts as needed. 8. Works with the Scrum team to ensure overall health of system(s). 9. Performs related work and additional duties as needed or required. Requirements and Qualifications:

Demonstrated Leadership abilities

Comfortable in developing for Lightning

Must hold an active Salesforce Certification:

Platform Developer I certificate (Preferable)

Salesforce Admin Certificate

Salesforce Advanced Admin Certificate

Ability to determine and implement declarative solutions when needed

Ability to liaison with non-programmers

Ability to work independently with minimal direction

Advanced analytical, organization and problem-solving skills

Advanced understanding of java application server architecture

Advanced Core Java Apex

Visualforce

Lightning Components

SOQL or SOSL

Ability to code from a low-level application spec

Ability to work in high volume environment with deadlines

Excellent active listening skills

Flexible, adaptable, and teachable
