You will work alongside colleagues in an agile environment to design, develop and maintain the Company’s Salesforce Apps, helping to ensure they are user-friendly, robust, and meet all functional and non-functional specifications.

What you will specifically do:

• Understand and implement functional and non-functional requirements
• Translate designs and wireframes into high quality, secure code
• Debug internally and externally-reported issues, and endeavour to maintain optimal performance of applications at all times
• Work within the agile team and participate fully in all team meetings, sharing knowledge with the team and wider department
• Take both individual and collective responsibility for the successful operation of the Company’s applications
• Design and develop according to Salesforce ISV guidelines and security requirements
• Maintain awareness of existing and new Salesforce technologies through research, communities and event attendance

Requirements

What You Will Bring To The Table:

The Essentials....

• At least 4 years demonstrable commercial experience developing non-trivial applications within SalesForce
• Solid understanding of and detailed experience with Salesforce.com architecture and API
• In-depth experience using Visualforce, Apex, S-controls, Triggers, Jetbrains, SalesForce Object Query Language (SOQL), SalesForce Object Search Language (SOSL) and SFDX
• Experience in Force.com SOAP and REST-based Web Service APIs, the Bulk API, and the Metadata API
• Development Experience with Salesforce Integrations (REST API Callouts and Limitations)
• Experience developing Lightning Components coupled with strong JavaScript development skills
• Deep understanding of Validation Rules, Tasks, Workflow rules, Triggers, Apex classes and working within the constraints of Salesforce limits
• Community awareness with new technologies, frameworks, resources, and open source libraries
• Experience with source control systems such as Git and agile tools such as Jira

The Desirables....

• Salesforce UI design including mobile apps
• Designing, writing and deploying apps to the Salesforce app store and familiarisation with the ISVForce Guidelines
• Experience developing Salesforce Mobile apps
• Web development skills including CSS3/ HTML5, Java, JavaScript, XML, AJAX, web services
• Experience of app licensing, payment, and deployment technologies
• Have worked within an Agile team
