This position will design, configure, develop, test, and deploy applications and solutions on our global Enterprise Salesforce.com Lightning platform. The Developer/Architect will work closely with all types and levels of stakeholders and collaborate with other IT resources, both locally and remotely, to deliver effective, scalable, and sustainable applications. The ideal candidate will have proven Salesforce.com Lightning design and development expertise within the Sales, Service and Community Clouds. This position includes all aspects of a project's SDLC and requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively contribute to a distributed team environment. You should have experience in utilizing the latest web development technologies as well as using the Salesforce environment to perform configuration and data changes. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally with Business leaders, Product Managers, Super users, Engineering, Change Management, and other internal IT teams.

Salesforce Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Work closely with business users and IT colleagues to provide Salesforce solutions to complex business needs, in adherence to the company's security requirements
  
• Design, develop, unit test and deploy new business functionality and enhancements to the existing Salesforce.com platform (using commonly used Salesforce technologies such as APEX, Aura Component, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, VS Studio, Data Loader, etc.)
  
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert for platform knowledge; provide technical guidance, as needed, to IT Support, development, and integration teams
  
• Act as Salesforce Development Technical Leader, supporting and nurturing additional development and functional users on the HID Global SFDC team.
  
• Ensure technical documentation is created and updated for the operational and technical support of the CRM applications
  
• Provide technical oversight of contract development resources
  
• Provide project support, including testing of new features, interfaces, and other system changes; facilitate UAT.
  
• Basic Oracle CPQ Administration responsibilities including manage/monitor Oracle CPQ sync, troubleshoot issues, refresh schema, refresh sandbox
  
• Log cases with vendors, if necessary, and aggressively pursue resolutions
  
• Interface effectively with all levels of management and staff internally and externally
  
• Troubleshoot Marketo issues related to Salesforce sync
  
• Recommend and assist on data migration strategy, considerations, and appropriate tools to use in technology transformation, design principles, integration patterns, and development guidelines. Contribute to the rest of the team and help knowledge transfer of the Commerce Cloud platform.
  

Qualifications

• Experience developing Lightning Components and deploying them in a Lightning environment
  
• Proven experience with commonly used Salesforce technologies including HTTP, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, HTML5, CSS, Force.com platform, Visualforce, Apex coding, Eclipse, Web Services, and Metadata APIs
  
• Experience in Lightning development for Sales, Service and Community Clouds using Process Builder, Triggers, Visualforce, etc.
  
• Experience constructing and/or maintaining continuous integration utilizing Jenkins, DX, Bitbucket
  
• Experience in supporting integration to other third-party applications (Oracle eBS, Cornerstone on Demand a plus)
  
• B2B Commerce Experience is preferred.
  
• Oracle CPQ Experience a huge plus.
  
• Resourceful in designing solutions; leverages current and future Salesforce functionality and AppExchange apps, limiting customization
  
• Experience in generating process maps for front-end related business processes
  
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple critical tasks with high attention to detail
  
• Ability to articulate to stakeholders the value of recommended approaches and solutions
  
• Excellent time and project management skills
  
• Experience with Agile Scrum delivery framework a plus

Education And/or Experience

• Bachelors or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or demonstrated equivalent education and relevant work experience
  
• At least 8 years of IT specific experience related to analysis, development, testing, or equivalent experience acquired by serving as a key business SME on IT initiatives
  
• Minimum of 8 years of knowledge and experience working on enterprise applications and web development
  
• Required
  
  : Minimum Platform Developer I Certification
  
• Preferred
  
  : Platform Developer I & 2 Certification. Commerce Cloud Certification, System Architect Certification, or Application Architect Certification.
  

Language Skills

• Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.
  

Computer Software / Hardware Skills

• Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  
• Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
