Overview:
iCIMS is looking for a Salesforce Developer III to join our Infrastructure Shared Services team. In this role, your primary focus is improving and enhancing our Salesforce environment and managing third party solutions that interact with the CRM. We’re looking for a true Salesforce Guru here. Someone with the knowledge and confidence to take full advantage of Salesforce. The ideal candidate is a strategic, long-term thinker who always has their eye on the bigger picture. If you’re a logical, process-orientated individual, who also has a familiarity with the sales process and funnel, we want to meet you!
Responsibilities:
- Modify existing configurations within Salesforce
- Debugging complex technical issues and delivering appropriate immediate fixes & long-term solutions- must be able to lead projects and focus groups.
- Protect Salesforce data according to iCIMS’ data classification policies.
- Proactively ensure integrations run as scheduled and planned.
- Participate in testing activities of transaction systems, reporting and integration.
- Participate in testing and validating system fixes and enhancements and assisting with user acceptance testing.
- Assisting with the configuration of existing application.
- Enhancing existing components of current system (new functionality, queries, reports, etc.)
- Implementing third-party products to work with application.
- Lead and support various ad hoc projects as needed.
- Consistently ensures that business is always conducted with integrity and that behavior aligns with iCIMS’ policies, procedures, and core competencies
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience working with Salesforce development projects and deep familiarity with Salesforce platform is required.
- 3+ years working with Lightning Components and Apex is required.
- Strong knowledge of software development life-cycles, systems engineering and business process re-engineering.
- Experience with system integrations, preferably involving Salesforce.com
- Experience with web services: JSON, XML
- Knowledge of data management, including data capture, warehousing, segmentation, mining, storing, cleaning and security
- Demonstrated ability to work as a Software Development Manager and leading a team of Senior and Junior Developers
- Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills
- High-level knowledge of project management, software development cadence, and a high-level of demonstrated organizational skills
- Proficient with Apex, Lightning Components, All Salesforce Automation builder tools (Flow, Process Builder), and JavaScript
- Hands-on experience on Visual Studio Code IDE, GitHub, Jira
- Experience with Agile methodology project organization (Scrum)
- Mentor Salesforce Developer II
- Using best practices, design, develop, analyze test plans and strategies to meet performance, usability, scalability, reliability and security needs
- Independently perform problem determination and resolution
Education/Certifications/Licenses
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or other technical degree preferred or equivalent experience in software engineering
- Salesforce Platform Developer certification is required
