EmeraldAI has partnered with a Chicago, IL financial services firm building out a salesforce DX implementation and looking to bring salesforce development management and training specialists into a start-up agile environment.

As a Salesforce Development Manager you are going to:

• Responsibilities:
• Manage a team - in an Agile environment - consisting of 5 to 10 Salesforce resources including analysts, developers, solutions managers and administrators plus third party partner resources.
• Collaborate with key IT staff members to plan, direct, control and maintain effective CRM controls that pass audit checks and follow Adtelem change management principles.
• Drive continuous improvement of the enterprise intake review and become an internal business partner with Adtalem institutions through leadership, collaboration, and initiative.
• Accountable for the delivery of Salesforce services, sprint releases and products to Adtalem internal customers. Additionally, respond to global customer needs by development, definition and delivery of new Salesforce product concepts.
• Work with all Enterprise Solutions and Infrastructure leaders to create mechanisms that proactively identify, track, mitigate, and report technology risks while following established product strategies.
• Create and implement the multi-year IT Operating Plan that aligns with strategic business objectives.
• Drive the design and development of a multi-year strategy that encompasses people, process, and technology.
• Ensure teams are optimally tracking and reporting on IT assets across Adtalem, while maintaining cost and operational efficiency.
• Prepare and present weekly, monthly and quarterly reviews illustrating service delivery effectiveness, metrics review, and areas of opportunity (including tracking).
• Lead team members in drafting and deploying process improvement and knowledge management competencies across enterprise solutions.
• Attract and retain talent developing a high performing team.

You will be working in an Agile environment:

• This is an onsite in-office position in Chicago, IL
• Pair/Mob programming
• Test-first/Test Driven Development (TDD)
• Technical awareness of the development of microservices
• Experience working in a highly iterative, collaborative environment where people share work daily.
• Experience using container platforms such as OpenShift and Kubernetes
• Experience with Spring Cloud and deploying to cloud platforms, preferably Pivotal Cloud Foundry or Cloud Foundry

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Scientific, mathematical or engineering discipline.
