As an Einstein Analytics (EA), formerly Wave, Developer you will be responsible for the delivery of strategic analytics data solutions and reporting built on Salesforce.com (SFDC) Einstein Analytics.

You will be expected to have mastery of the EA application, including the ingestion processes, dataset management processes, security and access implementations, and visualization/dashboard creation. You will also need to partner with business stakeholders to understand their needs and guide them on the "art of the possible". You will bring your passion for intuitive, insightful, compelling dashboard experiences and turn it into right sized, governed, supportable EA solutions.

This position will be a member of a growing SCRUM team focused on delivery of the analytics solutions (EA Dashboards and operational reporting) to both our internal users and external customers, enabling the wider objectives of the business program: enhance the services and insights we offer, drive greater value to clients & greater profitability to the business.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support EA apps, datasets, and dashboards, beginning with operational reporting and expanding into full-fledged analytics over time.
• In partnership with Product Owners and operations, define intuitive, insightful, actionable, and compelling EA dashboards, account for user behavior and exception paths.
• Provide "best practices" direction and implement approaches for content governance, taxonomy, processes, and UI consistency within EA.
• Enable EA solutions to be embedded into and available within our wider Salesforce based offerings (e.g. portal and mobile solutions)
• Optimize for the whole: provide design guidance to team on EA capabilities and limitations, enabling delivery of a system which is supportable, maintainable, performant, and achieves high user adoption.
• Grow our internal EA expertise: Be a mentor, teacher, and guide to both developers and Operations.
• Data analysis: analyze data sets for patterns and anomalies and create mock datasets to create meaningful prototypes and enable parallel development between EA and other development areas.

Qualifications (must have):

• Expertise in all aspects of the EA platform
• Familiarity with traditional BI and discovery tools
• Strong skillset in front end development (JQuery, JavaScript, CoffeeScript)
• Hands-on experience in analyzing data, identifying trends and building visualizations
• Experience with data modeling, logical schema design and data warehouse concepts including techniques for handling semi-structured and unstructured data

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Salesforce.com's technical stack - APIs, Custom Objects, APEX etc.
• Experience with ETL tools (MuleSoft, Informatica, Oracle Data Integrator, MS SSIS).
• Experience with key areas of enterprise architecture, including integration technologies, single sign on, and master data management.
• At ease working directly with business users to collect and synthetize needs, and negotiate requirements to account for functionality, speed to market, and level of investment.
• A business partner facing demeanor: excellent verbal and written communications
• Demonstrated experience understanding design aesthetics and "storytelling with data"
• Prior experience within a comparable business intelligence or analytics delivery role
• Experience as a member of an Agile team (Scrum - preferred)
