Overview
Acuity, Inc. is looking for an experienced Salesforce Engineer to join our team and support a customer who recently adopted Salesforce. This person will serve as the administrator in the implementation of Salesforce applications for automating complex business processes.
The Salesforce Engineer would get exposure working on a wide breadth of Salesforce modules as part of a team.
This Engineer role would be expected to be working with modern tools, techniques, and methods to develop, modify, or update applications used within our clients user community. This person will be leading or playing a lead technical role in development teams' efforts to determine business needs and processes that are automated by the application. This person will also participate in or review of all the steps in the software development life cycle to create and modify the software.

Responsibilities
- Work with product owners and other development team members to determine new features and user stories needed in new/revised applications or large/complex development projects.
- Create or Update documentation in support of development efforts. Documents may include detailed specifications, implementation guides, architecture diagrams or design documents.
- Participate in code reviews with peers and managers to ensure that each increment adheres to original vision as described in the user story and all standard resource libraries and architecture patterns as appropriate.
- Respond to trouble/support calls for applications in production in order to make quick repair to keep application in production.
- Serve as a technical lead for an Agile team and actively participate in all Agile ceremonies. Participate in all team ceremonies including planning, grooming, product demonstration and team retrospectives.
- Mentor less experienced technical staff; may use high end development tools to assist or facilitate development process.
- Leverage DevOps tool stack to build, inspect, deploy, test and promote new or updated features.
- Set up and configure a continuous integration environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical field or equivalent work experience
- 1-3 years of professional experience with the Salesforce eco-system performing project implementations that exploit the full capabilities (administration, discover, design, implement and optimize) of the Salesforce platform while delivering in an Agile framework
- Proven exposure and experience with Salesforce platform tools and languages such as Apex, Lightning Components, Process Builder, Flow, and Workflow
- Experience designing and implementing Salesforce solutions in the sales, service, marketing, and data clouds
- Experience performing impact analysis for potential changes in scope and ability to administer change management processes within a specified framework, including regularly reviewing issue management and change control logs to understand status and identify potential risk situations
- Demonstrated analytical skills and experience with complete lifecycle of complex Salesforce application development projects
- Ability to effectively design a scalable solution to meet client business needs and participate in system configuration when necessary
- Experience leading requirements gathering sessions and documenting outcome, including designing process flows and helping define test scripts
- A solid understanding of IT delivery methodology and leading teams in the implementation of the solution according to the design/architecture
- Strong understanding of Salesforce infrastructure, security and related cloud technologies
- Working knowledge of Salesforce enhancements, releases and continuous integrations/deployments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work side by side with the customer as needed
- Must be able to commute to Arlington for customer meetings one or two times weekly
- Must be available to provide support to the customer and team between the core hours of 9am and 4pm Monday through Friday (excluding holidays and scheduled time off)
- 1+ years of Salesforce Administration and Lightning development experience
- Salesforce Administrator certification is preferred
- Will accept an interim clearance however preference towards fully adjudicated Secret or Top Secret level clearance.
