The Role
We are constantly seeking to optimize our sales and service experience. In this role you will work with cross-functional teams to engineer solutions within the Salesforce.com environment to develop and deploy a robust, feature-rich Salesforce environment useful throughout the organization and to our customers.
Your day-to-day
Create and enhance our premier Sales, Service, and Support solution for Proofpoint’s customers
Collaborate on cross-functional projects to plan, design, develop and deploy robust, well-tested solutions
Triage and troubleshoot issues
Work with the Salesforce Administration, Operations, and QA teams to verify features and functionality
Deploy updates on a regular cadence, utilizing the best technologies available both within Proofpoint and Salesforce
Expand your knowledge of Salesforce and business applications at Proofpoint
What you bring to the team
Minimum 3 years of development experience that includes customizing Salesforce (e.g. APEX, Triggers, JavaScript, VisualForce, etc…)
Strong experience with JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Lightning Components, Lightning UI
Effective communication, both written and verbal
Experience with SFDC Security (OWD, Profiles, Permission Sets, Sharing Rules, SSO, …)
Experience with Visual Studio Code, git and CI/CD practices and environments
1+ years of professional experience with an OO Language such as Java, C++ is a plus
Experience with Salesforce Sales and Quoting objects is a plus
Experience designing, consuming and testing standard SFDC APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk, Streaming, …) a plus
One or more Salesforce.com Developer Certifications (Platform Developer I, II)
Expertise with troubleshooting within the Salesforce environment (Debug Logs, Flow Errors, CPU/SOQL Limits, etc…)
