Contract to Hire position to be located remotely at this time and eventually, the client is open to different physical offices in North America if this becomes contract to hire which is a possibility. Right now a remote contract - this is a functional role, and can only work on W2 basis. The Salesforce Functional Specialist is responsible for working with the business stakeholders to explain, clarify, investigate, and solution issues and options relating to the CRM technology.

They support the end-to-end delivery cycle from planning through to build, delivery & support. They partner with the delivery manager on the day-to-day relationship with the business stakeholders and help define the business priorities, requirements and provide guidance on the technology solution options.

The Functional Specialist will be the conduit to the offshore technology team providing clarity on requirements and context.

They will support the Project Manager for larger enhancements, feeding into plans and costing estimates.

This role will be key in ensuring the business and the technology team are delivering the right solution to maximize value.

Including 5+ years of delivering CRM solutions using Salesforce


Skills Profile

  1. Minimum of Bachelor's Degree, in Computer Science or related field.

  2. Strong knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem with experience of delivering Sales Cloud to a global userbase.

  3. Excellent communication skills are essential in order to understand the business needs and provide guidance in a contextual manner to ensure common understanding and buy-in on technical direction.

  4. Be familiar with the Lightning platform, specifically Lightning component development, Lightning design development, Lightning Aura & Web Components.

  5. Proven experience working in outsource and offshore environment on major delivery programs.

  6. Experience writing and reviewing business requirements with the ability to call out desired value or benefits. Sound analytical experience coupled with problem solving skills

  7. Knowledge of Agile principles, Agile experience desirable.

  8. Experience running contextual playback sessions bringing the solution to life for the stakeholders

  9. Knowledge of all phases of SDLC and full lifecycle implementations.

 10. Strong data modelling skills and an understanding of how platforms integrate in order to engage with data & enterprise architects

  11. Basic SQL and data structures knowledge

  12. Salesforce certified to at least ADM201 level

Technical Skills

Technologies :

  1. CRM : Salesforce Sales Cloud (Must Have), Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud & Pardot (Advantageous)

  2. Business Analysis: Experience with Jira & Visio desirable but not essential

  3. Comms : Good knowledge for MS Office suite essential
