Job Description We are seeking a remote Salesforce Developer for a 9-11 month contract with a leading client in Seattle, WA. In this role, the responsibilities will include: Ownership of key technical aspects of the Salesforce platform, including custom development Responsible for developing in Apex code, Visualforce pages, Lightning components, and other technologies to build customized solutions that support business requirements and drive key business decisions Perform technical analysis, level-of-effort estimation, design, development, implementation of applications with necessary customizations and integration Provide support across systems and related integrations native to the Salesforce ecosystem Troubleshoot and fix defects for planned releases and production issues Research and find opportunities to utilize Salesforce best practices, guidelines to improve system productivity, scaling and monitoring REQUIRED SKILLS: -5 years of related experience. -Must have a minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or related field. -In-depth understanding of the architecture, capabilities and constraints of the Salesforce application coupled with good understanding of business processes -Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications using SOAP, REST, BULK and Streaming APIs -Demonstrative success with at least two large Salesforce custom-build applications -Experience in building complex, scalable, and high-performance software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers -Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies such as Scrum PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: -Product ownership experience -Interest in process improvement. -Previous experience working on community development. -6+ years of Salesforce development experience using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning component frameworks, triggers, batch apex and Salesforce APIs at a large organization -Experience with Einstein Analytics including complex SAQL queries and custom actions. -Experience building custom data integrations between Salesforce and other applications. -Certified Salesforce Platform Developer II (PDII) or equivalent experience -Certified Salesforce Administrator or equivalent experience -Certified Salesforce Platform App Builder or equivalent experience -Experience in writing business requirement documents Company Description #1 Global Supplier of the Year!
