Primary responsibility of this business-critical role is to identify and deliver Salesforce solutions for business units across the enterprise to meet strategic goals for Dine Brands. The person in this role must have a passion for continuous process improvement and developing best practices. The person in this role must be a “hands on” developer that can also lead group discussions on process improvement and subsequently implement solutions for users. This is a strategic role.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Salesforce Administration

• Configure, customize and further develop apps
• Manage relationships with vendors
• Train, educate and manage expectations for over 200 users across the company
• Change and manage workflow rules, particularly when there is a change in field values

• Look at the login history table to spot any user lockouts, excessive login errors, and unexpected IP addresses.

Data Management

• Manage and oversee scheduled imports and exports of data in Salesforce
• Responsibility for ongoing system integrity
• Work closely with both business and IT departments
• Run tests and check for errors in validation rules, triggers and data to keep system clean

Business Strategy

• Provide analytical insight to maximize Salesforce usage
• Lead the development of custom dashboards to track and measure key metrics
• Continue the usage of workflow to further automate processes with employees and franchisees
• Champion consolidation of related business information to Salesforce

Qualifications and Experience:

• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or other technology related fields
• 5+ years of Salesforce application development experience
• Salesforce Developer Certification
• Preferred proficiency with Native, MySQL, and JavaScript
• Experience in understanding SDLC methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, RUP, other)
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Meticulous organizational skills
• Proven ability to deliver projects timely
• Excellent written and oral communication skill
