Summary
The Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Specialist will work with business partners, digital teams, business analysts, brand marketing, and database management teams to define, develop & activate SFMC solutions that support initiatives and campaigns which drive business results and the customer experience. The candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Coding, testing and debugging new campaigns
- Data configuration and setup
- Scheduling email, mobile/SMS, direct mail, etc. distributions
- Maximizing the available capabilities in the SFMC platform.
In this role, they will organize the intake of projects, implement solutions, and report results for campaigns designed to support the dynamic needs of the business (lead acquisition, online /offline bookings, resort arrivals, tour generation, product usage, customer engagement, timeshare sales/retention and more). This position requires a team player who is detail-oriented, flexible, and self-motivated. Someone who can manage multiple tasks and projects at one time. He/she will need to work well in a collaborative work environment.
Essential Job Functions
- Build, test and deploy marketing and email campaigns including personalization and dynamic content across the different Studios in SFMC
- Implement solutions for personalized, dynamic digital messages, using HTML, CSS, and AMPScript
- Partner with internal resources including Brand Marketing, Digital teams, IT, Legal, Sales & Marketing, Owner Services, Product Development, and Call Center Operations to design, develop and implement solutions for complex business problems/functions in the SFMC platform
- Troubleshoot and support implemented Salesforce applications
- Leverage Journey Builder to deliver multi-touch communications
- Create SQL queries in Automation Studio to segment audiences
- Maintain best practices for Marketing Automation Platforms, including troubleshooting, naming conventions, list management, etc.
- Provide troubleshooting / first line of support for stakeholders working on deliverables and encountering errors or technical issues with SFMC platform
- Maintain best-in-class standards for CAN SPAM and mobile/text/push compliance
- Coordinate production work with brand/content teams, web teams, analytics team, and IT to update content, make fixes/updates, and change requests for programs
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years direct experience working with enterprise-level Email service provider platforms, SFMC preferred
- 3+ years working with HTML and CSS for email
- 3+ years working on multi-channel digital marketing initiatives including, but not limited to, email, mobile/SMS, direct mail, and paid advertising (PPC/Social)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing / Technology or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years direct experience working within SFMC using AMPscript, Email Studio, Journey Builder, Mobile Studio, Automation Studio, and Contact Builder
- SFMC certifications including Marketing Cloud Admin, Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, or Salesforce Admin
- SQL experience
- Google Analytics experience
- Hospitality, Travel and/or timeshare industry experience
