Position:Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer

Location:Torrance, CA 90501 (on-site only)
Rate:Open, depends on exp level (W2/H1 Transfer)

Calance is a 1st tier vendor with 25 consultants working on-site for this global client. Although this is a contract role, the average consultant has been on project between 5-7 years. Initially all work will be remote during Covid, but eventually ALL work will return to 100% onsite.

Providing Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Email Development for ECRM Ops teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Consult and administer the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform
Support implementation efforts for Salesforce Marketing Cloud and it's applications
Provide automation management and development
Work with data configuration, manipulations, audiences and advanced segmentation
Produce reporting and analytics
Perform quality assurance and troubleshooting on email campaign functionality
Collaborate with business partners on email marketing campaigns and journeys
Support campaign content and assets management
Create personalized, dynamic messages, and landing pages
Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives
Support execution of Email and SMS Marketing campaigns

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
** Due to Covid, initially all work will be performed remote, eventually ALL work will return to 100% onsite. **
3+ years providing Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Development, including developing content, email campaigns and maintaining Marketing Applications
Experience designing, developing, executing/maintaining marketing campaigns, using Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation studio, Content Builder, and Analytics Studio
Experience testing to validate email rendering and delivering using Litmus (Insights)
Strong HTML/CSS development skills - web and email
Experience developing HTML email templates, SFMC templates & components, landing pages, and scripting
Strong Scripting language skills such as AMPScript, SSJS for emails, landing pages, SMS, and push notifications.
Experience with developing email marketing campaigns
Knowledgeable of email marketing best practices
Knowledgeable of email development best practices (design & delivery issues, responsive design and programming)
Experience with data, audience, and segmentation management
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred/ Nice-to-haves:
Experience with SFDC or other CRM platforms
Experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies
Worked with Jira and Confluence
