Our client in Elizabeth, NJ is seeking a highly organized, data driven Digital Marketer who has experience as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator. This individual will be primarily responsible for leading, planning, executing and measuring email marketing automation and mobile marketing. Our client is looking for someone with a deep understanding of configuring and executing Marketing Cloud’s Email Studio and who can work alongside business units to ensure we get the most out of the platform and deliver best in class customer experiences. Areas of responsibility also include search engine marketing, online advertising measurement and Amazon market place management.

Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist Responsibilities
  • Lead Salesforce integration project to connect Marketing Cloud data to and from Salesforce Cloud through Marketing Cloud Connect
  • Lead the Warranty Registration process and grow the consumer database utilizing Registria’s latest technology
  • Keep Registria’s application updated with our client’s warranty rules to ensure consumers receive the proper warranty registration information
  • Be the liaison between our client’s technical team and Registria’s technical team to be sure data is synchronized
  • Create and maintain lists, data extensions and subscriber list in Marketing Cloud
  • Maintain global/consumer subscriber lists to be sure compliant with consumer privacy laws
  • Create segmentation groups and track communications
  • Develop customer journey emails and drip campaigns
  • Develop relevant reports and dashboards
  • Sync Marketing Cloud data from Salesforce CRM to Marketing Cloud and back
  • Make data-driven decisions to optimize customer solutions
  • Complete quality assurance checks on changes to data and journeys
  • Develop business management processes for content/email/SMS approvals with the larger marketing department, sales team and Tech Service teams
  • Develop and document efficiencies in current and future processes
  • Configure and run triggers and API calls within the Marketing Cloud platform to connect with third-party agency data
  • Collaborate and train other team members on Marketing Cloud
  • Identify and evaluate areas to improve our digital marketing presence in marketplace channels such as Amazon, Walmart and Home Depot
  • Protect brand equity on Amazon and other digital channels by executing best in class content and information utilizing best practices
  • Expert knowledge of key analytics tools and the ability to set up advanced tracking/reporting mechanisms and capture key metrics
  • Understand how different elements of web strategy relate to, and complement, each other (e.g. organic SEO, search advertising PPC) and create metrics to monitor/measure this
  • Real-time, Daily and weekly campaign performance reporting. Presentation of key data and conclusions to management
  • Research new tactics and strategies to build digital campaigns and initiatives
  • Coordinate the creative development process for all e-mail newsletter campaigns and initiatives
  • Use web analytics tools and create reports that display our measurable results. Develop recommendations to optimize search campaigns’ performance based on analytics.
  • Monitor and stay apprised of trends in SEO, SEM, and mobile applications using data to inform and shape future strategies.
  • Ensure consistent messaging is being used across cross-functional departments & contributors
  • Raise the level of digital acumen across the marketing organization
  • Work with other marketing leaders to construct effective online advertising campaigns


Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist Requirements
  • At least 2 years’ experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and knowledge of configuring Marketing Cloud email studio
  • At least 2-3 years’ experience in online/email marketing, digital marketing, and/or online communications
  • An undergraduate degree is required
  • Must possess and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Well versed in current digital advertising trends, best practices and emerging marketing tools
  • Expertise in Email Marketing/SEM
  • Technically savvy and experienced in light use of AMP Script, SQL, HTML, CSS (emails), web analytics tools, Pay Per Click
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and external agencies
  • Experience using web analytics and creating reports that demonstrate measurable results is critical to this role
  • Must be organized and possess great project management skills
  • Experience using monitoring tools and web analytic tools.
