Salesforce Platform Architect - New Jersey - Limited to no travel- Contract

This Client is a global leader in Animal Health, and currently looking for a Salesforce Platform Architect located in New Jersey. This position will be responsible for delivering the best Salesforce practice to ensure highest quality. The candidates will be partnering with the Release Manager to ensure the security and stability of Salesforce production environments. Below are the responsibilities and requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Making sure the development of application follows correct Salesforce CRM architect guidelines


• Inspecting new requests and define non-functional requirements


• Having a technical visionary and being a strategist for CRM product plus working as a team to deliver project objectives but offering expertise solution design


• Define risks and issues with technology solution and design which may impact realization or project benefits


• Lay out guidance and support to make sure the right decisions are being made to avoid delays or issues on projects


• Highly skilled in creative thinking to promote technology


• Provide overall salesforce architecture guidance to align with enterprise Architecture


• Familiar with latest Salesforce technology and new technology industries


• Deliver code reviews for existing projects to confirm advancement in quality, level, and appropriate design pattern usage


• Advanced knowledge of Salesforce infrastructure, security, and related cloud technologies


• Experience with Heroku would be a plus


• Highly trained in configuration, customization, programming with APEX APIs, APEX Triggers, Visual force, App Exchange, Apex Data Loader etc.


• Experience with at least 3 project implementations (using discover, design, implement and optimize) of the Salesforce platform involving at least 3 clouds (Sales and Service Cloud a must, Chat, Mobile, Web, Social as customer service channels would be a plus)

Education and Certifications:

• At least 10+ years of experience with Salesforce


• minimum of 4 years of architecting enterprise Force.com platform


• Salesforce Certified Developer and Salesforce Certified Architect required (Technical/Application/System) is a must


• Preferred: Platform Developer II certification


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
