Identifies issues and risks and recommends possible issue and risk mitigation strategies associated with projects. Is responsible for ensuring that work performed is within scope, consistent with requirements, and delivered on time and on budget. Identifies critical paths, tasks, dates, testing, and acceptance criteria. Provides solutions to improve efficiency. Monitors issues and provides resolutions for up-to date status reports. The Program Manager organizes, directs, and coordinates the planning and production of all program activities, projects and support activities. Oversees the development of or develops work breakdown structures, charts, tables, graphs, major milestone calendars and diagrams to assist in analyzing problems and making recommendations. Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communications skills. Principal Responsibilities: Shall supply coaching and guidance to other project managers as directed. (Includes mentoring sessions, communicating job expectations, peer review of deliverables, performance monitoring, enforcing policies, procedures, and standards, and supplying feedback on project manager performance to management) Shall lead assigned projects to a successful conclusion. Leadership includes but is not limited to: Becoming thoroughly knowledgeable on all aspects of the project. Enforcing security, technology, project management, and coding standards throughout the project lifecycle Ensuring clear communication and situational awareness at all times; and Managing project deliverables, risks, and budget. Shall conduct requirements gathering or support a business analyst with requirements gathering including but not limited to: Facilitating requirements elicitation session(s) with stakeholders, Comprehending basic to complex business issues, Depicting complex information graphicly where appropriate, and Translating business needs into understandable, documented requirements. Shall work with assigned development resources or COTS vendor resources to develop estimates and ensure the system is developed or configured in a timely fashion. Shall plan and execute system testing or be supported by a testing specialist in the planning and execution of system testing including development of test documentation. Shall lead the planning and execution of the implementation including but not limited to: System documentation, Training materials, Training sessions, and Lessons learned. Shall support project teams in the best use of Salesforce technology including best practices, risk mitigation, and issue resolution; working with the Lead SalesForce Developer to assess the impact of any/all changes to the platform Shall maintain expert level knowledge of the Salesforce platform Shall be familiar with Microsoft Project, Planner, DevOps Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or other related discipline. Master’s degree or project management certification is preferred. Required Experience: This position requires a minimum of twelve (12) years of experience in program or project management, with at least eight (8) years in supervision or oversight of IT related programs or projects. In addition, the successful candidate will have the following training and experience: PMI certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP®) Program Management Professional (PgMP®), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP®), or industry equivalent Senior level experience with Agile software development including but not limited to the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Direct experience developing Project Charters, requirements documentation, workflow or similar diagrams, project schedules, periodic status reports, and lessons learned. Supervision of other team members doing this work is not sufficient. Shall possess experience facilitating requirements meetings with stakeholders, running stand-up meetings with the project team, conducting review meetings with the customer, presenting to management, managing risk, resolving issues, managing change, planning and executing both system and user acceptance testing, managing deployments, working with third party vendors, and managing project budgets. Eight (8) or more years’ experience in deploying SalesForce.com capabilities including Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud. Prior senior level experience with the Force.com platform, Lightning Experience, APEX, Visual Force, and out-of-the-box functionality and configuration. Demonstrated experience with the Force.com functional and systems architecture, data integration, and content migration over multiple projects.
