<p><b>Position Summary:</b></p><p>The <span>Salesforce Programmer Analyst </span>will serve as a critical resource on the GIS Commercial Service team for project implementation and ongoing support of Illumina’s global CRM and Support systems. This role is responsible to provide deep technical knowledge of Salesforce and its ecosystem in order to 1) implement strategic initiatives and 2) provide hands-on application support, partnering with GIS team members, business stakeholders and vendor resources.</p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Collaborate with our business partners to elicit, analyze and document requirements around critical business processes</li><li>Design, develop, unit test, document, and deploy high quality business solutions on the Force.com platform, including writing triggers and developing Lightning Components</li><li>Able to work independently, manage ambiguity, set appropriate goals and priorities, proactively raise issues by indicating appropriate level of urgency</li><li>Identify designs that leverage standard out-of-the-box functionality wherever possible and create supporting functional specification documents</li><li><p>Participate in functional and technical discussions and communicate effectively with a variety of audiences, moving between providing functional/technical design details and sharing how a technical design would enhance business process</p></li><li>Work on a mix of sustaining issues, enhancements and projects in a fast-paced global environment</li><li>Partner with the development team in the design, testing and deployment of changes to ensure the solution meets the agreed upon business requirements and is supportable and scalable</li><li>Partner with IT colleagues in a collaborative way for cross functional review/design and proactive communication</li><li>Execute and support unit and integration testing and regression testing – including writing scripts and validate executions</li><li>Work on implementations of enhancements from end-to-end by applying technical and project management skills</li><li>Identify and implement IS process improvements to increase our efficiencies and level of service</li><li>Work with offshore resources, ensuring a common understanding of deliverables and timely execution of tasks with a scrum style approach</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Requirements:</b></p><ul><li>3-5 years of technical and functional experience in hands on application administration and configuration of Salesforce.com</li><li>3+ years of hands-on Salesforce.com development experience including, APEX, Visualforce, migration tools, SOQL, web services and Lightning components</li><li>Experience with front end languages and backend tools for web engineering such as Java, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS</li><li>Salesforce Certified Platform Developer required</li><li>Knowledge of Field Service, Survey, Call center applications a plus</li><li>Salesforce Administrator certifications will be a plus</li><li>Experience in development, requirements gathering, writing functional & technical specifications, process and use case modeling, and data mapping</li><li>Working knowledge of Service processes and transactions in a global organization</li><li>Ability to use critical thinking and logic skills to isolate and resolve technical issues in a timely manner</li><li>Great time management and prioritization skills; Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Flexibility to work off-hours or be on call as needed</li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills</li><li>Ability to influence and negotiate</li><li>Ability to create and execute test plans</li><li>Strong collaboration skills with global workforce</li><li>Ability to interface well with cross-functional teammates</li><li>Experience in administering applications governed under regulatory compliance such as HIPAA, FDA or SOX</li><li>Working knowledge of change and release management best practices</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Experience:</b></p><ul><li>Experience in a fast-paced, corporate, cloud, CRM/ERP based environment</li><li>Experience supporting integrations between Salesforce CRM, ERP and other business systems</li><li>Experience in Biotech or other high tech industry a plus</li><li>Experience supporting SAP, <span>Servicemax, Qualtrics, Service Cloud</span> / Salesforce integrations, Call Center applications or similar technologies a plus</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Education:</b></p><p>Bachelors degree in IT related field preferred or equivalent years of work experience</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>Illumina believes that everyone has the ability to make an impact, and we are proud to be an equal opportunity employer committed to providing employment opportunity regardless of sex, race, creed, color, gender, religion, marital status, domestic partner status, age, national origin or ancestry, physical or mental disability, medical condition, sexual orientation, pregnancy, military or veteran status, citizenship status, and genetic information.
