What You Will Do And Learn

We are looking for a skilled Salesforce Project Lead to manage consulting engagements with our clients. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated a track record of building strong client relationships as a trusted advisor while also leading our project teams to successfully deliver best-in-cloud solutions to meet our clients’ needs.

The Salesforce Project Lead acts as a functional lead who can bridge business requirements to a holistic solution spanning across the broader project lifecycle, including program governance, change management, steering committee / stakeholder relationships, and multi-workstream development across various technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the face of Spaulding Ridge and build meaningful relationships with our clients and our partner alliances
  • Lead internal project teams spanning across solution architects, developers, model builders, business analysts, change management, and project management
  • Be accountable for the overall success of the engagement and general client satisfaction
  • Expand existing accounts through successful delivery and building rapport with the C-Suite and executive sponsors as a trusted advisor
  • Ensure the right resources are available and engaged in the project at the right time and that project budgets are effectively planned to ensure effective consultant utilization throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Proactively manage project slowdowns, staffing reassignments, and emerging issues to minimize the disruption to the client relationship, project, and consultant utilization.
  • Be the point for any escalation items, both from our internal project teams as well as our clients/stakeholders
  • Ensure solutions developed align with functional requirements
  • Oversee solutions spanning across multiple technologies across different departments or lines of businesses
  • Develop and manage the overall scope of the engagement while also tracking project budgets/financials
  • Ensure the project is run according to best practices of Spaulding Ridge, the practice, the PMO and the vendor standards for the technical solution being implemented
  • Support business development efforts through client and/or alliance relationships, account expansion, and thought leadership
  • Develop internal project team members through training, mentorship, and contributing to our company culture
  • Ensure that customer satisfaction surveys are completed by the client at defined project points and that the responses meet corporate expectations.
  • Develop case studies, repeatable solutions, demos, and customer references from projects that can be used to build the business.
  • Forge relationships with other Engagement Leaders to develop uniform approaches to cross-practice delivery programs.

Requirements
  • Proven experience leading Salesforce transformation engagements
  • Prior technology or management consulting experience
  • Strong business acumen including budgeting, forecasting, financial statements, sales operations, and/or deep knowledge in specific industry verticals
  • Well versed in Salesforce
  • Demonstrated high level of emotional maturity with people management experience
  • High-degree of acumen in enterprise project management preferably with either an Agile or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Enjoys working in less-defined working environments and building structure, process, and definition around the client’s underlying needs
  • Natural problem solver with strong interpersonal skills to maximize efficiency and resourcefulness
