If you are a Salesforce Senior Administrator professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based on the Emerson Global Headquarters campus in St. Louis, Missouri, you will work in a collaborative, fast-paced and innovative environment. This position is responsible for end-to-end administration of two Salesforce platforms, as well as delivering new features on a continuous basis. The ideal candidate collaborates with internal customers and executive leadership team to achieve the set objectives and blazes a trail to engineer a better experience to deliver on the promise of a dynamic, smart home future.
AS A SALESFORCE SENIOR ADMINISTRATOR, YOU WILL:
- Manage day-to-day administration of two SFDC platforms, including: users, security, objects, layouts, process automation, reports and dashboards, etc.
- Regularly audit system to uncover data integrity issues and opportunities for process improvement
- Perform manual or automated data entry/data clean-up as required
- Strive to achieve a high configuration (declarative), low coding (programmatic) standard
- Support large-scale Salesforce implementations: requirements gathering, build, release and training
- Assess requirements, potential risks, and impact of feature/change requests, and advise on available solutions within system constraints
- Analyze, prototype and help drive the adoption of new Salesforce features and 3rd party integrations to improve business processes and productivity
- Communicate with stakeholders, end users, project managers and engineers to ensure solutions meet team needs
- Provide strategic consulting of best practices, training programs, and use of SFDC applications to end users
- Translate recurring issues and problems into strategic and fundamental solutions
- Maintain Salesforce documentation and policies/procedures to ensure system usability
- Keep current on certification maintenance with each new Salesforce release: Spring, Summer, Winter

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Active Salesforce Administrator certification
- 5+ years’ experience working with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud
- Strong understanding of all aspects of Salesforce configuration and technical/functional capabilities, including all changes and potential system implications related to the Salesforce releases
- Experience developing and troubleshooting Flows, Workflows and Process Builders
- Proficient in Lightning Platform and capabilities
- Proficient in end-to-end software development methodology, agile methodology
- Solid teamwork skills – works well with a diverse team
- Execution minded – someone who makes and keeps commitments
- Comfortable in client/stakeholder facing roles and comfortable interacting with executives
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and be a creative, dynamic problem solver
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Active Advanced Administrator and Platform App Builder certifications
- Experience working with Marketing Cloud
- Development knowledge/abilities in either Apex or Java and JavaScript
- SFDC full-cycle implementation experience
- Prior experience working alongside a Salesforce implementation partner
- Prior experience working on implementation projects at a company with a multi-org setup
- Prior Business Analyst or Salesforce Consultant experience
- High-level familiarity with other IT system/business application capabilities and scope definition to make recommendations about potential integration.
Schedule
We offer the flexibility of a core hour work schedule. Employees can flex their start and stop times given they are working during the core hours of 9:00am - 3:00pm. Our teams work together to ensure their chosen work schedules are supporting our customers.
