A Summary of This Position:

The Senior Salesforce Project Manager is responsible for the oversight and leadership of rolling our Salesforce/Service Cloud to our Global Irrigation division. Responsibilities include scoping and prioritizing the rollout of Salesforce/Service Cloud worldwide include an analysis of what has already been accomplished, gaps, opportunities and a full needs analysis by region. The successful candidate will also be responsible for helping to schedule and execute training across the globe, working with various leadership teams to track and manage KPIs via reporting in Salesforce.

We are looking for a seasoned professional that has experience in managing and leading Salesforce rollouts and adoption across the globe. Additional duties and expectations include the following:

Senior Salesforce Project Manager

  • Complete a global needs analysis of Salesforce and Service Cloud.
  • Present a clear and detailed plan to meet the Salesforce rollout objectives by region including timing and resource requests.
  • Lead a small team (currently 1) with the potential to have more directs.
  • Monitors the team's adoption rates and responds as needed providing training sessions, communication, and documentation as necessary on an as-needed basis.
  • Maintain and customize Salesforce.com scopes such as users, roles, profiles, groups, accounts, contacts, record types, sharing rules, custom objects, pick lists, and page layout customization to support vital business functions.
  • Create training materials based on business requirements.
  • Provide support to potentially 100 Salesforce users worldwide and act as the primary point of contact for end-user support.
  • Develop, launch, and manage in-depth dashboards and reports for all team functions on both management and individual levels. Must have a high level of comfortability in presenting data to executive team members.
  • Configuration and administration of Salesforce.com enterprise editions.
  • Extremely process orientated to create reports that highlight individual business units KPIs and can display and help present the information in a way that tells a story.
  • Understanding of KPIs and/or have even written them in the past -currently looking for a goal of 90% adoption rate -today the adoption rate is very low.
  • The goal of the position is to get a reporting structure created that will help Valmont's management team make impactful business decisions for their products and services using these specific analytics.

This role requires organization, initiative and patience and requires the successful candidate to work cross-functionally with people across the globe. Understanding the importance of using data to drive decisions and make business cases is critical. The ideal candidate will have a curious mind and a passion for understanding what the data from Salesforce tells us, what the customer experience is like and not be afraid to call out issues, concerns or problems. We are looking for someone that is assertive yet can work collaboratively and has a real ‘get it done’ attitude. We value thinking outside the box and taking ownership to drive results!

Required Qualifications of Every Candidate (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

  • High School diploma and 7+ years of work/educational experience is required
  • Practical knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce including Service Cloud.
  • Ability to use independent judgment and initiative when performing job duties
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Self-starter and team player who can successfully interact with all levels of employees and dealers
  • Passion and integrity with the drive to excel and deliver exceptional results
  • Strong problem solving, planning, communication and motivational skills
  • Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and time constraints
  • Exceptional organizational and telephone skills
  • Deductive reasoning ability to formulate answers to specific questions that make sense
  • Ability to work independently, establishing priorities.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% globally

Highly Qualified Candidates Will Also Possess These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred
  • Salesforce Implementation experience-must have been in the trenches before
  • Service Cloud (a division of Salesforce) experience.
  • Experience in managing people and leading strategy.
  • 8-10 years Global Customer Experience

Working Environment and Physical Efforts:

Work is typically performed in an office setting. The incumbent is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time, as well as talk and listen on the phone and in personal conversations or meetings. Environment is fast paced and demanding most of the time. No travel requirements for this position. This position requires movement around and mainly in the office environment for 95% of their shift. The remainder of the shift could require a small amount of filing, which would require the incumbent to lift, carry, bend kneel, reach during the course of the time while doing the filing.
