Description:


The core function of the Delivery Director is to drive successful planning and delivery of Salesforce Services consulting projects. The Delivery Director will have accountability of a portfolio of services projects, with accountability for successful delivery. The Delivery Director will collaborate with executive leadership, finance, HR, Skience product and sales teams to achieve client objectives.


Apart from project oversite and client relationship management, the Delivery Director also acts as a strategic advisor, in order to help clients understand how to use Salesforce CRM technologies to achieve business transformation objectives for enterprise scale projects.


What You’ll Do:


  • Collaborates with Sales team to solution and estimate new services opportunities.
  • Accountable for scoping, planning and staffing projects, including writing Statements of Work.
  • Provides direction for project managers and other project leaders, including review of planning deliverables, such as schedules, resource plans, sprint plans, budgets, etc.
  • Drive identification and resolution of key project risks and issues.
  • Point of escalation for project team performance or other client concerns
  • Accountable for delivering on Statements of Work and achieving client objectives.
  • Develop and nurture trusted adviser relationships with clients
  • Identifies and assists sales team with growth of existing accounts, including scoping, estimation, proposals and SOW.
  • Influence and coach customers on Salesforce delivery best practices.
  • Coach, supervise, mentor and develop delivery team resources.
  • Achieve project profitability goals.
  • Participate in interviewing and hiring for our growing delivery team.

Must Haves:


  • Bachelor's degree, Masters in business, finance or technology a plus
  • 15+ years consulting experience delivering CRM and cloud solutions.
  • 5+ years consulting experience delivering Salesforce
  • 10+ years of technology Project/Engagement Management experience
  • In-depth understanding of Agile Best Practices
  • Expert level consultative and communication skills, including both technology and “management consulting” skills.
  • Consulting experience for another Salesforce partner preferred.
  • Hands-on SDLC lifecycle and “enterprise” solution experience.
  • 2+ years managing a portfolio of technology projects concurrently.
  • Familiarity with PMI project management standards.
  • Salesforce.com certification (Administrator plus Sales Cloud, and/or Service Cloud) preferred
  • A proven track record of consistent, successful delivery.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%

Nice to Haves:


  • Experience with Financial Services / Wealth Management clients highly preferred
  • Experience with Financial Services Cloud (FSC) delivery preferred.
  • Project Management Certification (PMP) or Scrum Master Certification preferred
