Robert Half is seeking for an experienced Software Engineer in Salesforce to join our Engineering team. We have rolled out one of the world’s 10 largest Salesforce instances, our engineering teams use the core Salesforce platform, Community Cloud,

Marketing Cloud and a wide variety of other tools to deliver cutting-edge solutions for both internal and external users. ON top of the Salesforce system the technical team has built international wide recruiting search system utilizing AWS, Elise and Java/J2EE based infrastructure that communicates with the Salesforce system.

As a Salesforce Engineer you should have experience with Lightning Design System, Aura, LWC, JavaScript, CSS, DML operations, all while following Salesforce best practices. Experience using web services and API based system is desirable. Prior Java/AWS experience is a plus.

You will be responsible for developing and through all phases of the front-end to the back-end development lifecycle. You should have a history of building successful Web-based solutions using Web Services and the ability to grasp a variety of unfamiliar technology and integrate them quickly. You will also be supporting launched applications in the production environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ Software Engineering experience with BS in Engineering or related field and
• 3+ years’ of professional experience in software analysis, development, engineering and support in a large corporate setting.
• 2+ year’s equivalent experience in with Force.com (Apex and Visualforce) within a medium-to-large IT organization.
• 2+ years’ experience with JavaScript (JS)
• 1+ Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
• Experience in understanding of HTML
• Good knowledge on software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Should be able to collaborate well with their team members.
• Should be able to learn new technical skills quickly and adapt and mentor team members on it
• Expertise with relational database languages (SQL or SOQL)
• Experience with data modeling design
• Knowledge of Web Services (SOAP and REST)
• Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment
• Experience in source control system like Subversion, GitHub or other similar system
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users.

Skills Desired

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology
• Certifications in Force.com
• 2+ experience in Salesforce Cloud products
• 4+ years of experience in Java/ J2EE, Web Services, Ajax, Pentaho
• Experience in test driven development
• Understanding of various user based security models
• Knowledge with Javascript frameworks such as Jquery and/or ExtJS
• Master's degree - ideally in Computer Science, Engineering or MIS
