Salesforce Solution Architect (CPQ) - Remote - $120,000
The Salesforce Solution Architect for this Georgia-based company will be responsible for creating, evaluating and reviewing designs to meet the needs of the Business and working with cross functional teams to implement. Essential Responsibilities
- Owns and delivers complex cloud based solutions using technologies such as Salesforce.com, Force.com, Apex, Lightning components, Lightning Flow, scripting languages, Web/J2EE , Heroku, Salesforce CPQ, DocuSign, Pardot, Shield encryption
- Owns the architecture and design of complex solution components (e.g., integration, security, custom development)
- Leads and facilitates discovery and scoping sessions with clients
- Articulate to customer stakeholders the value of recommended solutions and approach
- Understands client business process and potential constraints to define optimal and reasonable project scope and expectations
- Incorporates past experience, business savvy, creative and out-of-the-box thinking in designing solutions; offer multiple, potential solutions
- Demonstrates strong leadership skills in all stages of the software development life cycle by providing guidance and advisory support to the team on implementation approach and complex configuration issues
- Owns reviewing design elements and signing off on the overall technical design
- Works with vendors and employees in a distributed Onshore/Offshore model
- Responsible for ensuring that the system accurately meets the defined expectations of the business, ensuring that proper testing is implemented, and performance and security requirements are closely monitored
- Identifies and confirms technical design risks, and develop mitigation approaches
- Creates and defend solution estimate /Level of Effort & SOW and contribute to SOW, validate estimates to support change orders
- Coordinates with Technical Architects, integration, and data consultants, and others, as needed, for specific technical design requirements
- Provides sound technical recommendations on third-party applications, new tools and technologies
- Manages expectations with prospects, clients, Consultants, and SFDC - i.e., be the voice of common sense
- Establishes solid credibility on behalf of self and with prospects, clients, and SFDC
- Participate in QA checkpoints during delivery to provide guidance and insure solution aligns with original scope
- 8+ years of experience with Salesforce with 5+ years as a Salesforce Architect
- 5+ years' experience with Integration technologies
- End to End implementation experience with Salesforce platform
- Ability to lead design sessions and communicate design options to clients
- Experience with development technologies such as Apex/VF, Lightning components, HTML, Java Script, etc.
- Integration experience using Web based technologies (Soap, Rest) Middleware tools such as Informatica, Jitterbit and MuleSoft
- Hands on knowledge of options and how to handle security requirements such as single sign on and data security (Shield)
- Experience with Release Management, Source Control, and Deployment concepts and technologies such as Salesforce DX, ANT, SFDC Metadata API, Jenkins, SVN
- Ability to define the system landscape, to identify gaps between current and desired end-states, and deliver a solution
- Hands on experience on Agile framework and DevOps
- Salesforce Admin, Developer and Architect Certifications
- Maintain certifications and continually explore solution capabilities of the Salesforce ecosystem
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ and Docusign preferred
- Experience managing development teams in an onshore/offshore mode
