We are looking for a Salesforce Solution Architect to join our CRM team within our athenaIT division. In this role, you will be delivering innovative Salesforce.com architectural recommendation and solutions to our business stakeholders and customers. Salesforce.com is a strategic enterprise level platform at athena and we take advantage of the majority of the Salesforce product suite, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Knowledge, Marketing Cloud, Community Cloud, Analytics, CPQ, Billing as well as a number of AppExchange packages, including Gainsight and Cloud Coach. You are an experienced, high-energy, detail-oriented and highly analytical Salesforce Architect who has experience with enterprise level Salesforce implementations in a high-tech software company. You have a track record of delivering reliable and awesome solutions, have found success (and failure!) with multiple different projects throughout your career, and you measure your success through your team. This is a challenging role in an area of athenahealth’s strategic expansion that will include technical execution, contributions to the team, and mentorship of others. It will require tenacity, teamwork and a passion for achieving true customer success.

Job Responsibilities:

• Focus primarily on the Customer Success stack – Service Cloud, Community Cloud, Live Chat
• Proactively identify and propose new, innovative solutions to challenging problems in order to create scalable implementations and achieve results
• Assess, advocate and approve external technologies, such as Salesforce AppExchange packages, for their suitability
• In collaboration with other team members, provide a vision for the Salesforce platform and identify gaps in business processes that could be addressed with Salesforce solutions
• Develop/Enhance Information Architecture and taxonomy of Success Community
• Take ownership of what the team builds after the release; consider customer adoption as success criteria
• Mentor members of the team to maximize overall productivity and effectiveness of the team
• Work collaboratively across the Enterprise Business Applications organization to ensure alignment towards business goal

Typical Qualifications:

• 5-8 years of experience in a Salesforce development role and/or Salesforce architect role
• Exhibits mastery of Salesforce platform
• Proven experience with Visualforce, Apex classes and triggers; experience with Lightning Components
• Excellent knowledge of business processes and their linkage to technology
