Paladin Sales Engineers work closely with clients and sales to recommend solutions and define project scope, resources, and timelines. The ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer working with clients and potential clients to clarify and define Salesforce project. Ideally the candidate will have 3+ years Solution Architecture experience on the Salesforce platform as a project based consultant. Candidate will be a proven professional with excellent client facing skills and the ability to work successfully with sales teams.


A foundation in Community, Service, Sales, and Commerce Cloud and overall understanding of the Salesforce platform is required. In addition, Sales Engineers should have an understanding of related business processes and systems needed to support Salesforce solutions. This role is a creative and collaborative problem solver with strong technical and project skills.

This job can be remote and will require travel not to exceed 40-50%.

Education / Certifications

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering – or equivalent work experience

  • Strong experience using the declarative capabilities of the Salesforce platform

  • Working knowledge of custom development capabilities for both Classic and Lightning Experience

  • Excellent understanding of all the requisite phases and roles that are needed to for project success beyond development. Ex – Project Initiation, Documentation, Environment Management, Client Meeting needs, Deployment, Support and Warranty

  • Provide handoff of working notes, estimate and other documentation to Delivery team

  • Workshop - Whiteboard Skills

  • Strong understanding of core database concepts and data integration

  • Proficient with MS Office, Zoom, Slack, Google G Suite, JIRA, Lucid Charts, and other cloud collaboration tools

  • Understanding of the key elements of B2B, B2C, and hybrid business models

  • Experience with Agile or other similar software development methodologies

  • Conversational knowledge of HTML, Java or APEX is a plus

  • Understanding of Data Migration and ETL scenarios

  • Salesforce Certifications
