Position Summary:

The Salesforce Solutions Analyst (Analyst) works with business partners within one or more business processes to align technology solutions with business strategies. They serve as a team member, sometimes as a technical lead. The Analyst will work with our Salesforce team on highly visible projects. As a Salesforce Solutions Analyst, you will work closely with
customers to understand business needs and translate them into requirements for the development team to implement. You will also support testing, documentation and training efforts through the development lifecycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establishes and maintains liaison relationships with business partners and the Product & Enterprise Technology group in order to provide effective technical solutions.
  • Conducts data gathering and analysis to understand business strategy requirements.
  • Contributes to the business short-and long-term planning sessions and provides direction to ensure
understanding of business goals and direction.
  • Provides input from a business and IT perspective.
  • Assesses client needs utilizing a structured requirements process (gathering, analyzing, documenting,
and managing changes) to assist in identifying business priorities and advice on options.
  • Develops, writes, and communicates business requirements and functional specifications for the
implementation of business solutions.
  • Analyzes customers operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to
determine opportunities for improvements.
  • Assists in the business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology.
  • May provide assistance in business case development (i.e., research, data collection).
  • May review and approve test plans and monitors testing process to ensure that business results are adequately tested with minimal risk.
  • May ensure test strategies involve appropriate integration and process components.
  • Investigates problems and develops recommendations for resolution.
  • Keeps customers informed of problems, issues, and resolutions.
  • Analyzes performance metrics to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Manages customers’ expectations.
  • Ensures IT solutions meet customers’ needs.
  • Provides advice, guidance, encouragement and constructive feedback.
  • Ensures work, information, ideas, and technology flow freely across teams.
  • Coaches and transfers knowledge to less experienced team members.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION,
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Education & Knowledge

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of infrastructure, architecture, and administration services related to Salesforce

Experience

  • 5+ years with Salesforce solutions
  • Experience performing analysis and make recommendation regarding reporting and dashboard capabilities
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, time management and problem resolution skills, including the
ability to communicate effectively to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to work independently, to receive an assigned task and see it through to completion,
and to work within a team setting with minimal direction/supervision.
  • Ability to think strategically, applying business insight/acumen and demonstrating critical
thought in a complex business environment
  • Experience preparing and documenting user guides and related documentation
  • Must possess strong configuration skills such as such as creating screens, tabs, views, filters, validation
rules, workflows, process builder, cloud flow designer, approvals, profiles,
role, security permissions, custom objects, custom fields, relationships,
reports/dashboards and other configuration-related activities
