Salesforce System Administrator

Objective

The Salesforce System Administrator will function both as a Salesforce admin and also support the maintenance and development of existing products on the Salesforce platform. The Administrator will work with product owners, organizational units, and subject matter experts to identify, configure, and deploy new business processes. The Salesforce System Administrator will be responsible for executing the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of our platform orgs. This role will work with other SF admins, front line support staff, end users, enterprise architects and product owners.

Responsibilities

Owns all aspects of Salesforce administration, configuration, maintenance, technical/functional capabilities

  • Manage major and minor Salesforce releases including sandbox refreshes and regression testing
  • Meets regularly with the internal product owners and other stakeholders to continuously improve product functionality to meet business needs.
  • Manage the structure, policy, enforcement and deployment of configuration and cade changes in appropriate promotional paths.
  • Serves as key liaison with IT technical resources in areas related to system support for other technologies that would integrate with Salesforce.
  • Develops ad-hoc reports as requested by Salesforce users, performs analysis on data as required.
  • Maintain and communicate Salesforce metrics to track trends in usage and data integrity.
  • Manages enhancement releases including the release process, testing, tracking and communications.
Ongoing system administration, including:
  • Manages security settings and conduct regular security/configuration audits.
  • Manages all new user set-ups and deactivation.
  • Executes all configuration changes
  • Performs new release evaluations with internal business owner & executes new functionality roll-outs.
  • Performs any needed Data Migration
  • Manages and implements customization requests, including creating workflow triggers, workflow alerts, automated email responses, etc.
  • Maintains updated system documentation and Salesforce policies/procedures.
  • Maintains the Salesforce ticket queue by promptly responding to user questions and requests.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce.com administrator required
  • Lightning Experience – Required
  • Saleforce.com Admin (ADM201) certified (or contingent on obtaining within 180 days of hire) - required
  • Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption required
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality required
  • Strong data management abilities required
  • Ability to understand and articulate complex requirements required
  • Previous experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment - Required
  • Familiarity with modern collaboration software (MS Teams). - Required
  • Afterhours work is Required
  • Lightning Component Experience - Preferred
  • Digital Experience / Chat Experience – Preferred
  • Service cloud - Req / Community - Preferred, / Sales - Preferred, Marketing - Preferred
  • Confluence or Wiki Experience - Preferred
  • MuleSoft familiarity - Preferred
