As a Salesforce.com Technical Architect for the Compliance Group supporting our Services Enablement initiative you will be working directly with your user community, product owners, contracted resources, and services enablement leads to build an entirely new experience for the front-line Services team. You will be a hands-on architect, bringing your technical experience and expertise to important design, development, and delivery activities.
You will:
- Design and develop reference architecture to ensure best practices and help guide our contracted development resources
- Work to bring creative, extensible technical solutions to complex functional needs
- Support DevOps processes for the team
- Participate in and lead collaborative design and development sessions
- Provide code reviews and quality gates for delivered solutions
- Work with a tactical team of internal IQVIA resources to deliver the NextGen Services platform
- Partner with contracted resources to ensure quality and timely delivery
- Partner with leadership to provide Production Support effort for the NextGen Services platform post-delivery
Skills and Experience
- 7 to 10 years experience in the Salesforce ecosystem with varying roles and responsibilities

Extensive Hands-on experience with architecture, development, and delivery of Salesforce.com services
- Service Cloud
- Sales Cloud
- CTI tools
- AppExchange experience is a Plus
- Strong knowledge of implementing Salesforce DevOps, including CI/CD automation and Git
- Knowledge of Enterprise Design Patterns
- Integration of interdependent platforms via middleware like Mulesoft, with a strong knowledge of patterns-based architecture including Master Data Management and distributed transactions
- Hands-on experience programming and customizing Salesforce for large enterprises
- Solution-oriented strategic thinker, with strong problem solving and program/project management skills
- Agile, continuous improvement mindset, with a willingness to challenge the status quo
- Experience in remote collaboration with resources across cultures and time zones; strong general business acumen; uses their emotional intelligence to positively contribute to the team and team atmosphere
- Knowledge of Healthcare, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical industry a plus

- Salesforce Certified Administrator
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect and/or Salesforce Certified System Architect
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (required)
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (strongly preferred)
- One or More Salesforce Certified Consultant certifications
