The Taxnexus Salesforce Technical Architect is the hands-on leader of the Taxnexus in-house development team. Under the TA’s leadership, Taxnexus will use the power of Salesforce to disrupt the global tax industry.

You are both a big picture thinker and in-depth problem solver, your knowledge and skills are both broad and deep. • Architect and implement a new transaction network that will process billions of dollars of cannabis transactions
• Keep technical debt low establishing sound practices for ensuring code reviews, high test coverage, and documentation

ROLES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and enforce the roadmap, standards and compliance in the broad functional domain of service delivery.
• Manage technical guidance and architectural decisions regarding designing, building, testing, deploying and maintaining highly-available, scalable, and secure applications
• Constantly research, evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation
• Engage with key customer stakeholders to understand desired business outcomes and define success criteria
• Contribute to every phase of the project lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, and supporting
• Align internal IT strategy and planning with application development and business roadmaps designed to maintain a Connected Enterprise design pattern
• Create detailed solution & technical architecture diagrams, data models, mockups and process maps that supports solutions as required to demonstrate and ensure business alignment with proposals
• Responsible for the end to end solution design and technical implementation within the scope of a business applications projects

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• 10+ years of CRM industry experience
• 4+ years of deep technical experience working with Salesforce.com
• 4+ years of experience as an architect with experience in defining solution architecture for complex project involving multiple applications and technologies
• Expert level understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including Sales, Service, Community, and Marketing Clouds, as well as the Force.com Platform
• A demonstrated background in System Architecture, Development & System Integration using Salesforce and other cloud-based platforms.
• Adeptly applies SaaS and PaaS to business challenges and knows where each is best-fit; translates business requirements and technical requirements into Salesforce capabilities
• Experience with multiple Salesforce implementations, including a deep knowledge of system limitations and governor limits.
• A proven ability to learn new products, develop technical knowledge and apply new skills in a high paced environment
• Excellent client-facing written and oral communications skills
• Ability to lead a team of Salesforce professionals

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field or comparable industry experience required
• SFDC certifications (Advanced Admin, Platform Developer II, Technical Architect) preferred
