B3 Group is looking for a Salesforce Technical Architect to support a multi-year, high-profile software development project in support of the Department of Veterans Affairs. The ideal candidate for this position enjoys problem solving, has come up through the technical ranks, and has worked as a Salesforce platform developer. Responsibilities include solving technical problems on a daily basis while handling escalated requests and mentoring the DTC Helpdesk Team for any Tier 3 technical issues.
A B3 Sr. Technical SME is a highly experienced subject matter specialist in their respective technology. The Sr. Technical SME has vast experience in coordinating with program and project leaders to analyze technologies being utilize on the projects. Is able to thoroughly identify strategies for addressing requirements, risks, and issues. Is able to conduct detailed trade-off analysis of requirements against fiscal, schedule, and performance issues. Is able to quickly resolve issues and create vision. The Sr. Technical SME will have vast knowledge of IT systems involving end user as well as enterprise level networks. Experience in designing and implementing systems that meet agency policy and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advises and partners with clients on solving their business problems by leveraging the Dynamics Practice offerings and capabilities.
- Works closely with the growth and professional services teams to manage pre-sales efforts and engagements.
- Involved in providing objective advice, expertise and specialist skills with the aim of creating value, maximizing growth or improving the business performance of our clients.
- Works with the operations team internally, providing leadership with next-level analysis that will drive strategic and tactical business decisions.
- Develop, lead and transform the Dynamics practice line for B3.
- Accountability for the Dynamics Practice, including driving sales, recruiting, account management, consulting, and all operational aspects.
- Develop proposals, presentations, statement of work (SOW) and proactively recommend strategies to grow technical presence in existing accounts.
- Build offerings, platforms, solutions, and capabilities - to create differentiating position for B3 in the market.
- Responsible for business growth and establishing B3 as a thought leader in Dynamics and other technical space.
- Collaborate actively with other service lines and practices within the organization.
- Build and transform the practice leadership team to be a front line customer-facing consulting and advisory engine.
- Establish and nurture strategic relationships with partners and tool vendors.
- Engage customers as a thought leader by building and leading an elite pool of specialists.
- Work with all other practices to drive Analytics led the transformation of offerings as well as the way we deliver our services.
- Build and nurture a talented pool of specialists in practice as a people manager.
- Establish connects with industry stakeholders and manage analyst relationships.
- Experience leading teams towards a common goal of successful project completion on schedule.
In order to be successful in this role, we expect you to have the following skills and abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline. An additional 10 years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
- 10 years of experience leveraging a multitude of technologies, including leadership experience.
- Experience leveraging MS Dynamics
- Strong written and oral communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and quality assurance skills.
- Knowledge of Agile and principles and practices.
- Team player, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Monitor projects to ensure work scope, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained.
- Coach, mentor, and motivate project team members and vendors, and influence them to take positive action for their assigned work.
- Effectively communicate project expectations and progress to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion; organize meetings and plan agenda to ensure key issues are aired and resolved.
- Must be able to use a computer.
- Must be able to communicate both verbally and in written form.
- Must be able to obtain a government security clearance.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Must have reliable internet service that allows for effective telecommuting.
