Dallas, TX 12+ months Solution Engineer (Salesforce technical lead) About the Team Our Digital Engineering team is looking for a solution engineer who is passionate about the enablement of DevOps and has the analytical and multi-tasking abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The solution engineer is responsible for ensuring the setup and successful execution of the CICD Pipeline across the portfolio of applications in the landscape topology. The solution engineer will drive the definition of the DevOps process, encompassing environment strategy definition, source control and branching strategy, build jobs for continuous deployments, automated testing and monitoring. About the Job As a solution engineer with the Digital Engineering team, you will have the opportunity to join a fast-growing team that is embarking on a multi-year implementation as part of an on-going digital modernization effort. As the project team ramps up, you will have the chance to help define and shape the vision of how the solution will be maintained and monitored to meet the businessrsquo needs. Our vision is to have an industry leading DevOps CICD pipeline that enables our delivery teams to provide continuous improvements to our business partners while providing a lens into the day-to-day health of our applications to provide remediation of issues as they occur. Responsibilities and Day-to-Day View-Looking for SF technical leads Manages Salesforce MuleSoft engineering support for a distribution channel, which includes managing the application environments and DevOps CICD pipeline, monitoring and maintaining application landscape (includes Salesforce Sales Service, Marketing Cloud, and MuleSoft) Coordinates and part of Scrum team re-present Engineering team for deployment, release planning, branching strategy and resolve core platform issues Work closely with QA UAT help testing platform features across all applications Provides operational support for MuleSoft integrations and configures the Salesforce applications Defines and builds deployment jobs to support automated build jobs through the pipeline using the selected tools Manages, maintains and supports the application environment landscape across multiple systems, defining processes for addition of new environments to the landscape Establishes stage gates to higher environment deployments Implements tools to support code quality process, including static code analysis tools (e.g. SonarQube or CheckMarx) Supports minor enhancements to production landscape environment Develops and enhances core monitoring capabilities for application landscape using industry tools to capture performance of applications and render as appropriate dashboards Monitors product for all defined KPIs to ensure best-in-class customer experience Acts as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding across teams, enhancing process to support overall effectiveness of DevOps pipeline and monitoring Ensure timely responses for new tool assessments, MVPrsquos , architecture insight with hands on technical skills Manage product implementation and integration team and provide technical leadership with great communication skills Required Qualifications Bachelorrsquos degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field Background in supporting Salesforce applications, specifically Sales Service Cloud Experience with Marketing Cloud desired Experience within high tech, software andor wirelesstelecom industry highly desired Understanding of integration technologies and API Gateway, Mobile and ios technology stack Experience with MuleSoft desired Deep experience setting up CICD Pipeline using industry tools Experience in GitHub, Bitbucket or similar required Experience using a build manage tools, such as Jenkins, Bamboo required Understanding of SFDX CLI tool desired Solid technical background with understanding andor experience in software development, web technologies and customer communications such as email, SMS and push notification Experience working within scaled agile development team Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to present complex technical information in a clear manner to peers, developers, and senior leaders Technical skills should include Salesforce Development (Apex, Lightning), Salesforce Sales Cloud Service Cloud, Mulesoft, Splunk or ELK EFK (Elastic, LogstachFluentD, Kibana) for monitoring and logging, SonarQube or CheckMarx Preferred Qualifications Masterrsquos Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field Experience in a retail or consumer organization Key touch points Minimum 5+ years of experience in SF platform and minimum 3+ years in Mulesoft or similar Advanced developer Certification in Salesforce
