  • Testing of New & Modified Functionality to ensure there are no major defects in each release of product enhancements and/ or fixes.
  • Analyse the testability of Requirements, produce test plans and Test Scripts taking a business and operational view, ensuring the testing material is fully approved by the Delivery team.
  • Work collaboratively within an AgileScrum framework alongside business analysts, developers, users and other QA staff as part of the delivery team. Contribute to Backlog refinement and creation of robust Acceptance criteria.
  • Conduct demos to project stakeholders, communicate testing information to the Delivery team and non-technical stakeholders, and highlight risks that may affect the quality of the product release.
  • Produce professional Reports for Project Stakeholders, identifying patterns and trends from the Test Execution and Defect logs.
  • Apply QA best practices & identify process improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • 1+ years’ experience in testing Salesforce.com customization. May include Lightning and Classic interfaces, visual force pages components, security access, workflow approvals, data validation, data analytics, service support, email to case, search functionality, custom reports, dashboards, tabs and sharing rules. Experience of API testing is an important attribute.
  • Typically, 3+ years working as a Test Analyst across a number of programmes including all functional test stages.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder & people management skills, with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
  • Strong manual and automated testing experience across a range of test types; Integration Test, System Test, SIT, Exploratory Testing and UAT support.
  • Effective in utilising a range of contemporary technologies including cloud platforms, open source and ‘aaS’ services to enable and enhance the delivery of QAT services. This includes use of Object Oriented Programming such as Java or Ruby, and execution of automated tests using tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber BDD, Junit/TestNG, Maven.
