Why are we recruiting?
At PayPoint, it’s all about being innovative in what we do. Building bigger and better things. We can do that quite well but we do need to make sure what we build is tested and works well. We have role which will champion the testing side of our CRM Salesforce platform. This is a fixed term contract which will last 1 year.
Who are we?
We have been around since 1996. You will be able to find us in most convenience stores so take a look next time you go to your corner shop. We have different payment services ranging from bill payments to card services and ATM’s. PayPoint manages £15 billion worth of transactions every year, for over 6,000 clients.
What will you be doing?
You will be working in defining the test strategy and approach to our Salesforce platform. Much of this will include automation framework. You will be working alongside a dedicated technical team focused on delivering solutions and important changes to our Salesforce platform. As with many testing roles, you will adopt QA practices within an Agile/DevOps working environment. We love Agile just so you know.
You will have the opportunity to lead all QA activities within the CRM delivery team while guiding and mentoring other test engineers. You will also engage with many great people within PayPoint who will be the end users of your testing methods so it really is an opportunity to make and show a difference.
What would we like from you?
Proven experience of leading testing functions on the Salesforce platform
Sufficient Salesforce knowledge to be able to understand common pitfalls and challenges
Solid practical experience of implementing test automation strategies using tools such as Selenium
To be a leader and mentor others
It would be great if you already have…
- ISEB/ISTQB software Testing certification
- Leading Agile teams
- Any knowledge in delivering change within a payments processing organisation
