The Salesforce Training and Competency Manager provides services including training planning and delivery, employee competency movement management, new hire onboarding, facilities coordination, mentoring, project assignment, and client project delivery assistance. Scope of regions include North / South America, Europe, Latin America, and Asia Pacific. This person will lead the TCS Salesforce.com Training Center in Cincinnati, OH.

- Plan and execute training courses for new hires, internal transfers, and existing associates to include Salesforce practice onboarding, Salesforce technical training, ISV partner / niche skills training, project delivery methodology training, consulting skills training, and more.
- Develop new training programs as needed to be aligned with Salesforce practice initiatives while managing existing training programs for North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia Pacific
- Work closely with Salesforce practice POD management (Delivery Center Managers and Delivery Partners) to establish, build, and execute training related capacity build out plans while managing status, risks, necessary mitigations
- Maintain and distribute exam vouchers assignments for North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia Pacific while ensuring accuracy of voucher tracking in TACs
- Team with the Salesforce practice Staffing team to provide and delivery a comprehensive approach to building skills capacity to meet current and upcoming engagement demands
- Track and manage the Salesforce practice employees’ skill competency developments and movements
- Manage all trainees and Salesforce practice team members based in the Cincinnati center, including performance management, coaching/mentoring, learning and development planning, assignment to projects, competency movements, and more. This includes but is not limited to:
o Assist with the interviewing and selection of new hires and trainees to join the Salesforce practice
o Help to Identify allocation opportunities for trainees in order to help them transition to full-fledged consultants
o Perform onboarding for all new members of the practice to the practice and to their role
o Manage learning and development plan for team members, ensure ongoing mentorship, and contribute to practice training plan / strategy
o Manage trainee certification program
o Manage performance and appraisal process for team members, and take effective steps to maximize performance
o Ensure ongoing communication, support, and assessments of each team member to minimize unwanted employee attrition
- Work closely with the Salesforce the Center of Excellence (CoE) Products and Solutions team to provide assignments and training activities which will develop skills/experience and contribute to asset development for the TCS Salesforce practice.
- Work closely with team and counterparts in India to offer support and training
- Manage, maintain, and administer all training environments and development orgs
- Order and maintain classrooms, offices, equipment, etc
- Keep abreast of Salesforce’s capabilities and assist with enablement of capabilities to the Salesforce Practice.
Qualifications:
- Salesforce Certifications
- 3+ years Salesforce project and/or training experience
- Salesforce Certifications and/or Trailhead Badges
- Previous experience working with global onsite/offshore teams
- Previous experience working in Agile methodology environments
- 3+ years management experience
- Excellent attention to detail and communication/presentation skills
- Interpersonal, coaching and mentoring skills
- Must be based in Cincinnati, OH
- Ability to travel up to 20%
