Following Salesforce announcement to acquire Vlocity, Cigna International Markets has now embarked on a journey to leverage benefits of its technology enhancing and complementing Salesforce capabilities.

Built natively on the Salesforce platform, Vlocity is a leading provider of industry-specific cloud and mobile software for the world’s top communications, media and entertainment, energy, utilities, insurance, health and government organizations.

Cigna's Vlocity Developer will initially work as part of the team dedicated to deliver Quote & Buy solution, shadowing Vlocity team, focusing on training, documentation and acquiring in depth product knowledge. Following that successful individual would join the scrum team maintaining the application, augmenting and creating new products as well as becoming part of Cigna expanding Salesforce/Vlocity workforce. It is a great opportunity for a seasoned developer to expand their knowledge and portfolio.

Responsibilities

• You will leverage native Vlocity functionality to deliver customer requirements quickly with minimal customization
• Working predominantly in Agile scrum teams, you’ll be augmenting current product suite as per business requirements and building out new business products and processes using native Vlocity technology and the toolkit of the Force.com platform.
• You’ll be involved in all phases of the project lifecycle - from low-level design and development through to deployment and post-production support.
• You’ll acquire a deep product knowledge of the Vlocity vertical applications and will act as Cigna's champion in the wider Vlocity partner ecosystem, sharing best practices, lessons learned and time-saving technique
  
  

Qualifications

• You’ll have 3+ years experience of working on deployment teams, ideally using Agile development techniques
• You’ll be a self-starter, adept at picking up new skills and technologies, and eager to break new ground
• You’ll have excellent communication skills and will be a team player with positive “Can-do” attitude
• Ideally, you will have experience of building solutions in an insurance sector

• Salesforce (Apex, VisualForce, Lightning, Lightning Web Components)
• Javascript, HTML, Java, SOAP APIs, REST (JSON, XML)
• Process modeling tools and best practices
• Data modeling
• Preferable CPQ and DevOps tooling
  
  

Desired Certifications / Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
• Salesforce Administrator
