As a Senior Data visualisation Analyst, you will be required to:

The role supports our growth ambition in the B2B space and will be focussed on our B2B operations, but the work can vary according to business priorities.

We are expanding our data visualisation team. As a result, we are looking for a talented Senior Data Visualisation Analyst to help us generate more value from Tableau. We are keen to establish Tableau as the place where everyone in the business goes to when they need to answer a business question. You can help us do this by building clear, insightful dashboards, clearly explaining them to business users, allowing them to make better data-driven business decisions.

We are also growing our Tableau Champion community of Tableau creators, as well as our base of explorers and viewers in the business. We regularly provide Knowledge Share workshops where we look to improve the skills of our Champions and would like you to help with this. We also provide training, support, workshops and demos to ensure everyone in the business is comfortable using Tableau

Your part in the team

The data visualisation team forms part of the larger Data & Insights team. Reporting to the Principal Data Visualisation Analyst, you will be responsible for building intuitive, user-friendly data visualisations in Tableau. You will be comfortable meeting stakeholders to gather requirements and presenting content to a variety of stakeholders in the business. You will need to perform "viz reviews" of other Tableau dashboards to ensure the quality of visualisations on Tableau Server is maintained and consistency of definitions is maintained, as well as sharing your knowledge, providing advice and support to other data analysts and data scientists.

Experience of and proficiency with Tableau in the workplace

Data analysis skills

Knowledge and application of best practice data visualisation principles

Knowledge of SQL

Strong written communication skills

Strong verbal communication skills

Comfortable presenting to a variety of stakeholders in the business
