Senior Associate, Application Development (Mulesoft) - 2002968

Description

Purpose:

Santander Bank N.A., is seeking a Senior Mulesoft engineer with hands-on experience in designing developing, and implementing Mulesoft based Integrations and API solutions. S/he provides specialized technical, and quick hit solutions for strategic and near-term projects. S/he leads the design and development of Mulesoft solutions aligned with all facets of Santander business units utilizing robust computing architectures in a multi-tier environment. S/he delivers high quality software products using the agile methodologies to ensure the highest priorities are delivered first.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides technical leadership to other development teams that are using the API platform
  • Design high quality APIs that are scalable and global at the core
  • Develop APIs and policies in IBM API Connect/Mule/Java
  • Setup Security models and policies for consumers and producers of API and catalog assets
  • Implement Security OAuth/JWT solutions for the different API Scenarios
  • Setup distributed as well as embedded API gateways with various load balancing topologies
  • Deploy API Definitions & Implementations, Policies and Certificates in different environments
  • Upgrade the API Infrastructure using the API Connect and Mulesoft in different environments
  • Setup API Analytics for consumption through various channels including ELK and Kafka stack
  • Troubleshoot issues related to the API Platform in different environments
  • Collaborate with other engineering teams to implement CI/CD processes to support secure, scalable, and maintainable releases in a highly regulated environment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree; Information Technology or equivalent field or equivalent work experience
  • 9-12 years; Information Technology, Technical Application Development, or similar experience


Skills:
  • Experience with Linux based infrastructure, extremely comfortable with CLI
  • Experience with REST services, Microservices and Service Oriented Architecture
  • Experience with Mulesoft framework components: Designer, Exchange, Runtime (on-prem/RTF),

Maven Deployment plugin, ARM.
  • Experience developing APIs in Mule 3.9+ environment
  • Experience with API Management and Governance Tools like API Connect
  • Experience with Java, Maven and Springboot
  • Experience implementing OAuth 2.0, JWT and APIs Security Architecture
  • Experience in creating custom policies and custom connectors in Mulesoft
  • Deploying APIs and Microservices in Containers and Cloud environments is a plus
  • Build and Release orchestration using the Jenkins CI/CD environment is a plus
  • Developing API using Mule 4+ and Run Time Fabric knowledge is a plus
  • Knowledge of Python, Groovy, Javascript, Angular is a plus
  • Knowledge of PaaS, Kubernetes and Docker is a plus
