Position Description:
MetaPhase is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with 5-10+ years of experience to be a part of a Federal IT customer engagement team supporting business analysis, requirements, training, and process improvement.
You will be joining a team responsible for modernizing a federal housing agency’s grants management system that supports execution of its core grants management processes. The team will manage the intake, development, and deployment of new system requirements onto a new cloud-based platform. The agency has embraced the use of the Salesforce platform as a proven solution that can meet the technical needs of their mission.
As a business analysis lead, you will gather and validate detailed business requirements and user stories through strategic engagement with senior agency leadership across various program offices.
Specific Duties:

Lead discovery and requirements gathering sessions with multiple stakeholder groups on a regular basis. Meetings should be organized, highly engaging, and results focused to support backlog development for upcoming development sprints

Identify and solve core business needs, turning vague or aspirational business requirements into clear and concise technical requirements

Translate stakeholder inputs into actionable information that leads to improved business processes and enables communication with wide audiences, including product roadmaps, business process flows, and user stories

Analyze business and technical documentation to uncover potential requirements, formulate thoughtful ideas and questions, and extract useful insights

Conduct product feature and requirement reviews to validate business need, seek additional clarification, and/or prioritize for future development

Support development teams in identifying and designing Salesforce solutions to meet client needs and timeline

Work closely with the Product Owner to guide development of the new platform through planning and execution of agile ceremonies, such as backlog grooming, sprint planning, and sprint demos

Serve as the “voice of the business” when working with internal development teams to clearly communicate the intent of requirements and make sure sprint deliverables are aligned with the product vision, stakeholder expectations, and agency policy

Promote an improved understanding of Salesforce solutions and best practices amongst the project team and its stakeholders by providing advice, making design recommendations, and sharing knowledge of Salesforce
Basic Qualifications (Required):
-
5-10+ years experience; Federal government consulting experience highly preferred

Strong knowledge of Salesforce solutions and cloud architecture

Certified in Salesforce (e.g. Administrator, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and/or Developer)

Experience with Requirements Management and Business Analysis

Knowledge of the SDLC both Agile and Waterfall
-
U.S. Public Trust Security clearance; U.S. Citizenship required (NO EXCEPTIONS)
Highly Desired:

Experience on Salesforce projects and implementations

Certified in Agile (e.g. SAFE, ScrumMaster, etc.)

Knowledge of Federal Grants and the Grants Management Lifecycle

Possess strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
