Role: Senior Data Analyst

Location: Canada

JOB SUMMARY:
Executes and leads technical activities/deliverables between both on-shore and offshore
development teams, clients, external vendors and service providers. This is a customer-facing role
with regular interactions with various client team members for data management services offered
within Deployment Solutions. Works closely with internal teams including Project Management,
Quality Assurance, Data Governance, Business Intelligence and Compliance to determine project
scope, work effort and expectations to ensure the success of ongoing data exchange processes.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Engages with clients/external providers to facilitate data services related project delivery schedule-
- Develop and maintain customer project documentation including Data Requirements Document
and work instructions for all repeatable tasks.
- Plans, facilitates deployments and monitors data integration processes involving upstream to
deliver on new requests
- Perform quality control functions on all deliverables including ad hoc loading and data extraction
projects
- Leads UAT with customer deliverables
- Leads and guides ongoing data exchanges
- Enforces Data Management standards across all client implementations
- Collaborate with resources to ensure knowledge, exposure, and contribution are optimized
- Builds effective relationships with business staff across the company’s business units to ensure
projects to support them are delivered
- Leader than a follower, ability to provide insights on best practices w.r.t data management.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree or Graduate degree, preferably in Computer Science, Technology or
Engineering
- Minimum experience of 8+ as Data Analyst.
- Experience in Pharmaceutical and Life sciences implementations and awareness of data sources
involving EDC systems, Salesforce, Planview, VeevaVault etc..
- Experience in working with data management teams within a Clinical research projects.
- Experience with data warehouse, MDM and data integration initiatives
- Strong SQL knowledge
- Strong knowledge of data modeling
- Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, involving Ingestion and processing techniques.
- Experience working in a production environment for multiple clients in a compliance industry
- Experience with Salesforce.com/Veeva or a similar CRM system is preferred
- Experience with big data stack like Spark and Databricks in cloud environment (AWS, Azure) is
preferred
