The Opportunity
We are seeking a talented Senior Marketing Automation Administrator to be the driving force behind CO-OP’s B2B marketing success with Marketo and/or Pardot. This position leads both strategic and tactical implementation and will solely own the instance. The person in this role develops and delivers effective automated marketing programs and campaigns that will help deliver relevance with content and nurture the buyers to help grow marketing-influenced funnel and closed revenue.

We are seeking a talented Senior Marketing Automation Administrator to be the driving force behind CO-OP’s B2B marketing success with Marketo and/or Pardot. The person in this role develops and delivers effective automated marketing programs and campaigns that will help deliver relevance with content and nurture the buyers to help grow marketing-influenced funnel and closed revenue.
What You Can Look Forward To
- Develop and optimize a best in class marketing automation platform, methodology and infrastructure that intersects with CO-OP’s various toolsets (Salesforce, ON24, Seismic, etc.) to manage top of funnel engagement metrics, scoring and nurturing.
- Set up and manage Pardot as the sole owner of the instance.
- Ensure a successful configuration, implementation, and maintenance of all marketing programs within Pardot and update marketing campaign workflows as changes to business requirements dictate.
- Work with the Director of Demand Generation to target content for email nurturing and programs that move leads through the buying process, develop campaign landing pages and conduct A/B tests to improve conversion rates
- Establish lead scoring methodologies and intelligence to help sales prioritize activities.
- Analyze the campaign performance and make recommendations for improvements and optimization of content, mix, frequency, etc. in order to meet monthly and quarterly goals.
- Optimize and own the database toolset for customer segmentation, augmentation and insights, data hygiene and synchronization across the MAP and CRM.
- Create sales and marketing KPI dashboards, and other reports for executive review.
- Work with outside marketing agencies and internal marketing stakeholders to ensure data is clean, campaigns are executed on time, and marketing metrics are reported accurately.
- Work as a bridge between Marketing and Technology teams and be able to influence and consult with the business and business partner teams.
- Conceptualize and articulate future state Marketing Automation models and roadmaps.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Responsible for reporting risks that are identified to the appropriate team and/or management. Additionally, responsible for managing, monitoring and reporting risks within the scope of your work area, to include, but not limited to Information Security risks.

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business plus 8+ years of experience as an administrator of Marketing Automation in a B2B environment, or equivalent training and/or experience.
- Background in digital marketing across website platforms, data optimization for account segmentation, hands-on marketing automation experience (Pardot/Marketo), CRM experience (Salesforce), managing the integration of Pardot and other applications (Seismic) within Salesforce.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce Lead and Campaign Management and Salesforce terminology.
- Understanding of the B2B lead funnel and strategies to optimize lead conversions.
- Thorough understanding of marketing metrics and analytics, proactive in analyzing performance and making improvements.
- Knowledge of marketing automation, marketing concepts and lead generation best practices.
- Marketo or Pardot certification preferred but not required.
- Hands on experience working with Salesforce Administrators to design, configure and map Pardot fields to Salesforce.
- Hands on experience building nurture streams.
- Demonstrated past performance in executing successful and efficient campaigns within Marketo or Pardot.
- Advanced experience with developing and maintaining Pardot integration with CRM (Salesforce preferred).
- Basic experience with HTML, CSS, jQuery, and JavaScript.
- Marketing operations experience as it relates to email nurturing, funnel optimization, and database management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Deep understanding and passion for digital behavior trends.
- Ability to develop analytics and success measurement for various channels to drive demand and conversions.
- Attention to detail.
- Desire to learn, excel and over-achieve at every step of the way.
