Job Description

IC Labs is searching for a Senior Product Manager to report to the CEO and provide leadership and structure to our Salesforce solutions. The Senior Product Manager is expected to be the primary technical and process expert on the platform and will work in collaboration with the Salesforce Solutions team, business stakeholders, and other teams that impact their end to end business process area of expertise. The Senior Product Manager is expected to synthesize IC Lab’s market strategy, product strategy and requirements into a strategic roadmap and sprint plan in a modified Agile Scrum environment. IC Labs is a new and strategic initiative that is fully funded and supported by ICS. Given this, all members are expected to be flexible and comfortable operating in a highly dynamic environment.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Own and drive all aspects of your product area from broad product vision to ultimate delivery and then customer success.
  • Implement and maintain a global strategy to support backend systems/processes with the Salesforce platform.
  • Manage third party development resources to achieve technical goals of the program.
  • Collaborate with legal to ensure solutions are in compliance with employment and data laws in addition to maintaining the company’s IP strategy.
  • Manage the investigation and troubleshooting of issues to determine root cause and drive solutions.
  • Can identify business themes and trends and can influence priorities and approach at roadmap level.
  • Effectively negotiate work scope with business partners to align on business value and solution approaches.
  • Guide business partners through the development process, highlighting milestones and artifacts, and understands the value behind them.
  • Be the trusted advisor for Salesforce Automation.

  • Must have the ability to make decisions and recommendations on technology strategies
  • Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Comfortable operating in a start-up like environment and wearing multiple hats. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and strong project management skills.
  • Interest in the general principles of security and recognize the industry potential.
  • Systems-thinking: Quickly assimilates the connections and relationships across functions and entities both internally and externally.
  • Communication: Sends the right messages and information to appropriate audiences verbally and in writing; ability to interact effectively spanning all levels in the organization; keeps all stakeholders informed; adapts communication style to needs of audience.
  • Collaboration/Influence: Actively gathers appropriate level of participation and input to decision-making; persuades others to see/recognize new perspectives to reach best outcomes; strong matrix management skills.
  • Analytics: Understands and actively seeks use of metrics and critical thinking to distill situations, guide messages and make recommendations.
  • Accountability: Unquestionable ownership for delivering service and meeting business objectives, managing specific tasks to completion with high attention to detail and quality, and minimal direction.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Preferred (MBA a plus).
  • 7+ years of relevant or professional work experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years in product, product management/ownership or consulting experience.
  • Exemplary interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Outstanding strategic thinking, analytical and project management skills.
  • Data driven mentality.
