Job Summary:

Disney’s Direct-to-Consumer and International (DTCI) division is a newly formed technology epicenter which combines Disney’s tradition of bold innovation and creativity to directly deliver compelling content to hundreds of millions of people all around the world. Comprised of Disney’s international media businesses and the Company’s various streaming services, the DTCI segment aligns technology, content, and distribution platforms to expand the Company’s global footprint and deliver world-class, personalized entertainment experiences to consumers around the world. Our employees are leading, creating, innovating, and making bold moves in unexpected directions that redefine not just what a mass media entertainment company does, but what it can do.

Within DTCI, the Advertising Platforms team is responsible for creating and scaling innovative global advertising solutions by building mission-critical tools and workflows to support digital & linear ad sales, traffic, marketing and parts of broadcast operations. Being part of the DTCI team is a once-in-a-career opportunity to be a part of what’s next.

This role is a part of the Salesforce Software Engineering team within the DTCI Advertising Platforms organization. We strive to be a diverse team, passionate about great technology applied creatively to solve complex business problems. We are a motivated team that is committed to lifelong learning and improving, both in and out of the office. We strive to be adaptable to change both in how we execute projects and in the technologies we use to deliver our solutions. We care about the details because every pixel, every line of code, and every user interaction with our products determines whether we are delivering on our commitment to producing the very best products possible. You’ll be joining a talented team that works interdependently toward aggressive goals to deliver technically sound solutions. We work to ensure that we share both accountability and credit as a team. We often include our users as part of our team and we work to connect with them on a human level, understanding their world, so we can deliver software that they love to use.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Salesforce Administrator. You will use your passion for Salesforce, platform knowledge, software development lifecycle experience, trouble shooting ability, and communications skills to ensure that our Salesforce Applications run smoothly now and into the future. This role oversees the day-to-day operations of our Ad Sales org while also working with the Business Stakeholders, Users and the Platform Architects to plan future implementations. This role will work closely with the application development team to build and test new features. To succeed in this job role, you will have a deep understanding of how to build and support custom applications using Salesforce’s no-code methodology, while understanding the balance between wen No-Code or Code based development are called for. The right candidate will have a thirst for knowledge and will seek to become a subject matter expert in both the Salesforce Platform and the business surrounding the advertising sales process. The team will look to you to use your knowledge of the business users to help propose solutions before the users even know they need them. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, with flawless communication skills, and able to juggle multiple workstreams in various environments. To succeed you must be a team-player, but still be capable of working independently with little or no supervision. You must have a thirst for knowledge, as both the Ad Sales world and the Salesforce Platform are constantly evolving, and our team needs to stay ahead of new technology and business requirements. You will be an important part of a motivated team where we’ll be looking for you to collaborate with the team to drive application architecture, code quality, and make sure we are building the right things for our users.

While The Walt Disney Company is a large company, ideally, we’d like if you have some previous experience in a U.S. startup environment and be comfortable performing multiple roles. We strive to get things done quickly, with high quality, and we are committed to the agile methodology. Our work is guided by lean principles (looking at value and looking for waste; not doing anything ‘for the sake of doing it’).

We’re looking for a passionate, impactful, technical leader who wants to come here to do their very best work and make their mark, add their chapter to the long and storied history of The Walt Disney Company.
