Valassis is seeking a Certified Senior Salesforce Administrator (Project & Salesforce CPQ) to co-manage our current Salesforce.com platforms as well as be part of a significant modernization of salesforce related tooling. The position will report to our Director of Salesforce Strategy & Solutions and will be involved in the planning, design, implementation and oversight of Salesforce initiatives and business processes that will drive sales, client management and organizational effectiveness. This role will have a specialized focus on Salesforce CPQ feature set and will involve collaborating with Sales and cross-functional leadership to ensure our Salesforce instance and its use align with company goals and strategies. This person will also support and participate in a wide range of activities and must be a self-starter. This role will be critical in maintaining and enhancing the Salesforce platform architecture and providing thought leadership and the latest best practices as the company continues to grow.

Key Duties/Responsibilities

• Manage administration of Valassis Salesforce instances
• Design, Develop, Test, & Deliver platform enhancements requested by key stakeholders
• Participate in next generation process and system design, architecture, testing, implementation and support operations
• Maintain salesforce maintenance and enhancement roadmap, including any custom development work needed to enable business processes
• Manage change control process for any custom development and new workflows
• Partner with external parties as needed to execute major system upgrades and enhancements.

Experience

• Have at least 5 years of relevant experience working within the Salesforce eco-system
• Have a deep understanding of the Salesforce eco-system specializing in Quote to Cash methodology within a large company
• Maintain Salesforce CPQ system product catalog data involving complex product bundles, pricing rules, validation rules, document templates, etc. in support of new requests and the ongoing process improvement and simplification effort.
• 3+ years’ experience working with Salesforce CPQ (Salesforce CPQ Certification would be a bonus)
• Act as subject matter expert for the area of assignment.
• Carry a desire to learn new technologies and methods, both within and outside of Salesforce
• Have an understanding of sales processes and experience with collaborating with cross-functional teams to define business requirements
• Champion automation tools improvement, process automation and innovation
• Advocate to continually improve quality

CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSURES

• Must hold active Salesforce Certifications (Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Consultant certifications preferred)

• Experience in App Exchange app installation and setup
• Experience in media sales, advertising, mobile, and/or digital technology
