TWO new Senior Salesforce BA positions. There are many similarities between the profiles, but they are not identical. The Managers plan to conduct interviews together, and may cross-share candidates. Both positions require 5+ years of relevant experience, a proven capacity to work with Salesforce, and a Salesforce administrator certification. They emphasized that this is not a technical role, but these contractors will need to be able to interpret issues from the business and translate them to technical people.
Job Overview
The Senior Business Analyst, Salesforce is responsible for business process oversight and ensuring that process is optimally applied to our CRM implementation. This includes but is not limited to: Managing end user issues, maintaining workflow documentation and job aids, training, coordinating business requirements for enhancements and projects, and preforming as data steward of the CRM on behalf of Sales and Account Service. This person serves as the liaison between various business owners, vendors and the Information Technology team. The Senior Business Analyst will have strong business acumen and command of our business processes and develop creative business process, technology and systems solutions to meet critical business requirements and looking at the design from a user's lens to ensure a well thought out and efficient user experience. This person will provide ongoing maintenance, management and training of solutions. As a Senior Salesforce Business Analyst, you would be expected to participate in cross-functional projects designed to improve effectiveness through process analysis, workflow redesign, and system development and improvements with regard to business requirements, business process redesign, user interface needs, reporting, integration and data needs, training, and operational readiness activities. This role is responsible for understanding corporate and sales strategies, system requirements and capabilities, and developing business processes that support those strategies and technologies. Throughout all projects the Senior Business Analyst meets regularly with the project team, Sales, and Sales operations to accomplish the objectives presented in the below description.
Major Responsibilities
Maintain Salesforce Sales and Service cloud at a system administrator level, and though the eyes of efficient business process design Translate abstract concepts in to clear and actionable deliverables, business friendly documents as well as user stories Analyze business process and design scalable solutions to increase operational maturity. Provide tactical and strategic guidance for the Salesforce platform identifying and proposing innovative capabilities. Drive a team of vendors, developers, business analysts, and line of business subject matter experts, along with the PM and PO to design and implement optimal solutions that meets business needs and long-term support objectives. Develop business cases and user stories and determine benefits of pursuing operating plan initiatives and contribute to prioritization. Lead requirements solicitation sessions using various methods including but not limited to: interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios. As a part of the requirements gathering business process/ business flow needs , document user interface requirements, integration requirements, data requirements, reporting requirements, document user impacts across all of sales and service, work flow requirements. Lead/oversee UAT testing efforts to ensure high quality deliverables, as well as be the lead supporting end to end testing on projects when applicable Lead/guide team members and vendors in understanding business needs. Lead process improvement efforts to increase automation or productivity. Lead the operations readiness activities - including but not limited to : creating a raining plan and delivering training, creating job aids and end use documentation Subject matter expert for Sales and Account Service business processes as they relate to strategic implementations related new rating and sales platforms, and ongoing enhancements to our core platforms and programs. Facilitate and/or participate in cross functional workgroups as needed to ensure project deliverables are met. Coordinate and communicate with other business areas and IT regarding business requirements and operational readiness. Assist with the identification and mitigation of project issues and risks. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key external and internal customers. Assist in developing project implementation plans and required materials including process flow documentation and training materials/manuals
Qualifications: (Knowledge, skills and abilities)
Proven track record of researching and analyzing complex business and operational issues and providing concise summaries and driving solutions. Ability to analyze complex data, process, or systems issues and to provide actionable recommendations. Strong presentation skills. Salesforce administrator certification. Act as the Salesforce subject matter expert and trusted advisor for internal users Must be self-motivated, professional, results oriented and promote a positive team spirit. Solid working knowledge of application development testing and SDLC Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment when priorities can change daily. Proficient in Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Jira
Education/Relevant Experience
BS/BA degree required. Health insurance experience preferred. Knowledge of sales and marketing processes. Minimum of 5 years' experience with business process improvement and redesign (10+ preferred). Demonstrated experience in business analysis and working on large scale projects. 4+ years of experience with Salesforce Sales and Service cloud. Experience with Einstein Analytics preferred. Strong project management and time management skills. Exceptional analytical and processing skill set.
