Infoblox is seeking a Senior Salesforce Business System Analyst to join our IT Applications team in Santa Clara, CA. This position reports to the Senior IT Manager, Salesforce Applications based in Santa Clara, CA.
With our recent upgrade to an all SaaS-based systems landscape, the Senior Salesforce Business System Analyst role will be highly visible, working in a techno-functional position supporting our Lead to Opportunity process. The BSA will be responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements in Marketing, Channels, Professional Services, and Sales. Previous hands-on experience in Salesforce and Financial Force will be key to success in this role.

The Applications and Business teams have recently completed a multiyear, multimillion-dollar initiative transitioning to a full SaaS system landscape along with reengineering all back and front-office business processes. We are excited about the next phase of the project where we will implement new business and systems functionality while continuing to improve business processes driving towards our corporate goal of improved customer satisfaction by delivering a full SaaS and Subscription product offering.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to define requirements, develop, design, and implement solutions for Marketing, Channels, and the Professional Services team
- Be the single point of contact for the business regarding all lead to opportunity related processes
- Define the current state and uncover gaps in Salesforce best practices. Lead discovery workshops, which includes the facilitation of large audiences, solution presentations, and prototype demonstrations
- Work collaboratively with team members to design a solution that will meet the business requirements and fulfill user stories
- Guide and assist the team with regression, UAT, and system integration testing for existing and new processes for marketing, channels, and professional services
Requirements:
- 8+ years of IT experience
- 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce configuration and design experience required
- Deep understanding of the Lead to Opportunity business process
- Strong experience and understanding of salesforce.com configuration and out of the box features and capabilities
- Some experience with salesforce custom development is nice to have
- Experience in designing and implementing new Salesforce objects, workflow rules, custom layouts, and other standard Salesforce customization
- Comfortable building and demonstrating prototypes in Salesforce
- Self-starter, able to work independently, identify what needs to be done, and do it with limited direction and oversight
- Demonstrate excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
- Engage at a technical level with Engineering to build/ deliver solutions
- Effectively communicate vision, strategy, and statuses of projects to leadership and internal stakeholders
- Experience working in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies

Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems
- Certified Salesforce Admin and App builder
