The Senior Salesforce Consultant should be able to scale from business functional to a hands-on technical role as needed. The consultant will be a member of a successful professional services organization based in Texas.  Location: Houston, TX. 

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce consultant who will work with members of the technical team on the architecture, design, and development of robust, highly scalable systems utilizing Salesforce. You will customize, develop, maintain, enhance, and optimize the client’s Salesforce applications.

Additional responsibilities of this role will include the following:

• Design, development, and implementation of solutions on the Salesforce platform using Sales Cloud & Service Cloud products
• Automating business processes using Salesforce features such as Process Builder and Flow
• Implement Lightening solutions or help customers migrate from Classic to Lightening
• Complete data loads and data migrations
• Translate business requirements into well-designed solutions that best leverage the platform
• Lead in technical design, implementation, and integration of projects integrating with Salesforce that align with the client’s business objectives
• Identify problems, develop ideas and propose solutions within different situations requiring analytical, evaluative or constructive thinking in daily work
• Prepare and present ideas and recommendations to colleagues and management
• Apply creative thinking to identify possible reporting solution alternatives
• Other duties assigned as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications

In addition to a candidate possessing demonstrable experience in the responsibilities described above, the successful candidate will also meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering or a related field
• 4 years of IT experience
• 2 years of experience in Salesforce.com design and implementation
• Strong Salesforce automation experience using Process builder and Flow
• Strong understanding of data migration processes and experience with Data loader and other data management tools
• Custom development experience with Apex, VisualForce, SOQL, and Triggers is a big plus
• Intermediate level SQL skills- read & write their own queries
• Has Salesforce Consultant or Platform Developer II Certification (or equivalent experience)
