Requirements

• 3+ years of Salesforce Developer/Consultancy/Administrator experience
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification
• Platform Developer II certification preferred
• Other Salesforce.com certifications preferred
• Extensive experience of VisualForce, Apex Classes/Controllers, Apex Triggers, Lightning Components
• Web Services development OR experience with the Salesforce API (REST, SOAP, Metadata, XML, etc.)
• Experience in HTML, XML, JavaScript, and SQL
• Experience using Salesforce data tools (Data Loader, Excel Connector, DemandTools, Eclipse Force.com IDE)
• Version/Source control management
• Excellent soft skills, comfortable in a fast paced and changing environment - confident and approachable
• Understanding of key SFDC architecture concepts and how they influence design
• Excellent problem solving skills on the Salesforce.com platform
• Salesforce app management experience
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment preferred
• Previous client facing experience customising the Salesforce.com within a large organisation or consultancy to suit business needs preferred
• Self-sufficient, flexible, and motivated team player capable of managing several activities simultaneously
• Professional experience in a test-driven and formal QA development environment, including development/staging/production (or similar) deployment cycles

Responsibilities

• Design, build and configure, to a high standard, custom solutions using native Salesforce and technologies including Lightning Components, Apex, Visual-force, Javascript, web services, general design concepts and more
• Convert simple and complex business requirements into user friendly, scalable and maintainable solutions
• Lead design workshops to establish optimum solution
• Document technical specifications and communicate to non-technical stakeholders
• Provide work effort estimates that contribute to reliable delivery schedules
• Build and maintain integrations with external systems
• Communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders from cross functional teams

You will be a key member of the growing Salesforce team that provide consultancy services to a range of different industries both in Ireland and also further afield. This is a dynamic, progressive and client-facing role with a rapidly developing consultancy.

As a Salesforce Developer you will own and execute custom multi cloud solutions to build scale, efficiency, and a great customer experience. You will provide solutions that are highly usable, scalable, extensible, and maintainable on the Force.com platform. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of Salesforce development and drive best practice standards. You will stay up to date with the latest releases.
