Job Title: Senior Salesforce Developer

Location: NY – EST hours – Remote till Feb 2022.

Duration: 12+ Months contract

Summary

This position is responsible for the development and maintenance of  Salesforce platform. The incumbent works closely with the Solution Architect, business analysts, business stakeholders and members of the development team. This role requires strong experience in Salesforce configuration, customization, development and integration.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop custom solutions within the Salesforce platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives and client requirements
• Exhibits effective communication with project managers, business teams and other developers on projects to ensure effective collaboration throughout all phases of development, testing and deployment
• Integrate with on premise and cloud-based systems using Salesforce and third-party APIs
• Execute full lifecycle deployments from development to sandbox production
• Provide system administration support of internal and customer-facing Salesforce environment, especially related to customized applications, user permissions, security settings, custom objects and automations
• Develop strategic accelerators on the force.com platform
• Carry out unit-testing and defect resolution
• Proactively identify areas of improvement and functional gaps in Salesforce applications
• Create and maintain technical documentation including process documentation, naming and commenting conventions and Salesforce policies/procedures
• Evaluate, install and administer AppExchange applications
• Assist with technical design and documentation
• Provide post-production support as needed

Minimum Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Salesforce Developer I & II Current Certification
• Salesforce App Builder Certification
• Salesforce Adminstrator Certification

Experience:

·         A minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in salesforce.com configuration and custom development is required

·         Proficient with Apex, Lightning, Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL, Web Services, Sales Cloud, Services Cloud, Pardot

·         Experience in working data transformations and integrations using SOAP and REST API

·         Experience in the use of Salesforce automation tools, such as Process Builder, Workflows, Formulas, Flows, Validation rules and etc.

·         Experience in enterprise-level salesforce.com projects using both waterfall and agile software development methodologies throughout the whole left cycle with repeated and demonstrable success.

·         Extensive experience with salesforce.com configuration, including workflows, validation rules, and security settings

·         Experience in designing and developing software components and having a strong background in database design

·         Experience integrating salesforce.com with different business systems, as well as working with integration tools (ETL, CPQ, marketing automation, reporting, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Expert understanding of the salesforce.com product suite including sales, service , and marketing clouds, as well as the force.com platform

·         Deep functional and technical understanding of SaaS, PaaS, IaaS and other cloud computing services

·         Deep understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies

·         Strong knowledge of master data management, including data capture, warehousing, segmentation, storing, cleansing, and security

·         Must have excellent oral and written communication, presenting, meeting facilitation, negotiation, decision making, and problem solving skills

·         Ability to reasonably estimate the time for tasks and then meet deadlines set by those estimates; ability to quickly and effectively prioritize multiple requests

·         Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

·         Strong time management skills and attention to details required

·         Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks with minimum supervision
