We are currently seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to join our team in ATLANTA, Georgia (US-GA), United States (US). Senior Salesforce Developer Duties Responsibilities Build Salesforce applications using Apex and Visualforce to meet documented business requirements and conform to design specifications. Createmodify existing controllers, controller extensions, and triggers across all platforms. Develop UI using Visualforce, JavaScript and jQuery. Apply best practices and best-of-breed design patterns to applications developed on the Salesforce platform. Create and execute unit and integration test plans, including writing test cases, creating test data, and documenting test results. Follow established DevOps procedures for code checkoutin and deployments. Participate in bug reviews and triaging Troubleshoot and resolve bugs Participate in team status meetings and contribute information to status, risk, and issue reports Ensure functionality is delivered per the SOW. Identify deviations and communicate to project leadership Follow all project standard operating procedures (SOP) related to time reporting, DevOps, reporting status, updating PMticketing system for assignments, bugs, events, incidents, requests, changes, problems, etc. Review code, guide developers, as well as assist junior developers with writing code as needed Works closely with architects and the development team on core development Collaborate with the project management team to communicate technical issues and drive timely resolutions Basic Qualifications Minimum 8 years of IT Consulting experience Minimum 5 years of Salesforce development experience Experience working within the Salesforce development platform Apex Code (Triggers, Controllers and Batch classes), Visualforce pages, Web Service APIs and the Lightning Platform Salesforce Platform App Builder Certification Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification Experience with Salesforce development best practices Experience working with OOP methodologies, design patterns and development best practices Prior application development experience using Java, C, or VB.NET Nice to haves Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification Prior experience working on an agile project preferable Travelposition will require travel to Atlanta, GA per project demand Degree Bacheloraposs Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related discipline About NTT DATA Services NTT DATA Services is a global business and IT services provider specializing in digital, cloud and automation across a comprehensive portfolio of consulting, applications, infrastructure and business process services.
